In a way, I find the episode with the Assblaster cute and funny. The idea that this is the same one that Nancy and Mindy caught and found it's way back to the valley gives me stary dog vibes. Also, the fact that it's become a picky eater is funny.

The OG cgi can be considered ugly, but the first 3 films used great practical effects. This series was part of my preteen years, It'll always be a classic 👌

@@smittyvanjagermanjenson182 Yeah I have the tv series on dvd. Haven't finished it. But the GGI did NOT age well from the 90's to early 2000's. I think when it comes to sci-fi/fantasy. They should use both so the actors actually see what thier supposed to be looking at and the monster appears more real. But have cgi do what a suit or animatronic can't.

Honestly, if they fused the old design with the new design it'd have worked better. Use the head from the old design, make it narrower and leaner and keep the body and wings of the new AB and then fuse the tail designs. What annoyed me was how they thought generic vagina-mouth monsters worked with a series where all the stages of life had a distinctive beaked mouth.

Even if they're not hunting for food they follow the instinct to hunt. Single minded hunting machines. I'd say they're similar to sharks or Kamodo Dragons in a feeding frenzy. At least for the American ones. The African seem smarter, almost hive like.

The American ones were actually plenty smart if they lived long enough. Messershmidt, the Ab given to Siegfried and Roy, escaped and returned to Perfection. After getting trapped again on the ground and escaping, he started only going after aerial food. The ABs in 3 were literally days old.
