@@horion7271 Not probably. It actually is the proper meaning. Young Amelia wasn't scared of a stranger, who climbed out of a box in her backyard, but she admited being scared of a crack in a wall. So that crack must've been really really scary. And as we've found out moment later, it was. A crack between two realities isn't something your brain will deal easily with, especially if you hear voices out of it each night like Amelia did.

After having watched DW now, I've realized that it's one thing for the show to be written well, but to also have it SCORED well. Murray Gold knew the importance of theme songs and reprises. Emotional moments like regenerations and companion send-offs were made all the more painful by hearing the same melodies we've heard since the beginning. Hoping that he returns along with RTD in 2023!

John Cena for me we didnt get enough moments of him just living. We were with him primarily for the adventures not so much the down moments which I feel is what made 11 feel more complete to me. We saw more of his time between the big adventures and there were more references to time and life we didn't see which feels more realistic. One of my favorite doctor who moments is with 9 when him, Rose, Mickey, and Jack are just sitting sharing stories until he finds the newspaper. It feels more real and grounded. I feel like we need that breather time now and again.

I literally could not have made it through the Matt Smith years without him as the doctor. He touched my life and made me want to be a better person. No matter how much people say the show changed, he said one thing and made it very clear. We are all different people throughout our lives, what matters is that we remember all the people we have been. I feel from what I have seen of the show up till a few years ago (and I haven't seen anything of the show since) that they have done this. Yes the doctor is different, in many MANY ways. The greatest speech of all time. I walked away from the last Great Time War. I marked the passing of the Time Lords. I saw the birth of the universe and I watched as time ran out, moment by moment, until nothing remained. No time. No space. Just me. I walked in universes where the laws of physics were devised by the mind of a mad man. I've watched universes freeze and creations burn. I've seen things you wouldn't believe. I have lost things you will never understand. And I know things. Secrets that must never be told. Knowledge that must never be spoken. Knowledge that will make parasite gods blaze. So come on, then. Take it! Take it all, baby! Have it! You have it all!

I believe all the doctors are great, they each have a unique strength that made everyone love them but non more then Matt Smiths performance made the doctor feel brilliant. He was the perfect mix of smart, caring, brutal, methodical and of course funny. Matt Smiths acting was on point, everything he said/ did was so well acted out. He managed to keep me engaged in every episode. To this day I still watch his final performance right before he regenerates into Peter Capaldi's doctor as it just had to much raw emotion and allowed Matt Smith to really act his heart out. That being said all companions as well namely Amy and Rory are also well casted.

If we’re assuming that the doctor managed to actually do 5,000,000 kicks in half an hour assuming that the other 2 tasks took only 30 minutes combined he would have to be doing 2,777 kicks a second. He would have broken the universe by kicking a ball

"I will not forget one line of this, not one day. I will always remember when the Doctor was me." - Always loved this line in his closing monologue; it was just as much Smith saying goodbye to the part as it was the Doctor saying goodbye to this regeneration. Good clips, definitely, but where's the love for A Good Man Goes to War? The "Colonel Runaway" bit at least should have made it.

Each Doctor’s final line(s) usually read like the actor saying goodbye. Nine, “you were brilliant. And you know what? So was I.” Ten, “I don’t want to go.” Eleven, “I will always remember when the Doctor was me.” Twelve, “Doctor… I let you go.”
