Everything I have heard about real exercises involving the F-22 gets called "seal clubbing". Your tactic of sneaking up on the enemy and killing them at close range is beloved of '22 pilots.

As it happens, the greatest aces of every nation of both world wars discovered basically the same thing - 4 out of their every 5 kills were made against an enemy that was completely unaware of their presence. Getting in a turning fight was the last thing anyone with a brain wanted to do, and was as like to lead to death as victory. The F-22 and F-35 lean into this notion: see your enemy, don't be seen, kill without recourse.

Two things the f22 can do very well is getting slow and being very maneuverable while being slow
