We have eaten there once, and love the cheesesteaks! It was SO GOOD! I spotted a bear quickly crossing the road from inside looking out the window. It's disappointing that the General store has left the building! I wonder if they moved elsewhere? It was one of my favorite places to visit. ❤ Happy National Day Of Prayer 🙏

Nice area to visit! The river is across the street! Dancing Bear lodge bistro is meandered back in the woods there. Check it out sometime! Great place to eat for a special day.

Sometime you need to stop at Harper Bros and go horse back riding and ride chair lift to top of a mountain. Great view of Wears valley

Love that drive. Our daughter lives in Tellico Plains, so we go through there from her house to pigeon Forge. We love stopping at mountain brothers to look around and get ice cream

We just Love Townsend and Wears Valley... so many things to do and see thanks for the great video... we ate at sloppy Hog and it was delicious, you two will need to try it, great food and great friendly folks that work there

Love Apple Valley Cafe and the shops. Good food and folks! We have a carved bear and an owl on our fireplace from that wood carving shop. We too take that drive and stop at Mountain Brothers. Love all the antiques shops and enjoyed The Wears Valley Fall Festival last year....TY

We have stopped at the Dancing Bean Coffee several times. I have their hot chocolate and hubby gets their coffee. The General Store is where I first purchased Amish Popcorn. It is such delicious popcorn. Now I buy it from the Amish Popcorn store.
