I’ve had a do35 on my camper trailer for a year now and it is great value for money, really great product. However I have a hitch ezy on my caravan and I must say by far the best designed and simple hitch on the market, at twice the price of the cruise master so definitely a hard decision to outlay that sort of money. But it is by far the better design. John is a really nice old fella, rung the number on the website for some information, and nothing was a problem best customer service I have received in a long time was my deciding factor on the choice. But not a bad word said about cruisemaster by John he said he knows his product is up there in price as he is only a small Australian company trying to get off the ground and if I couldn’t afford his product he would go a cruisemaster next, which I would agree with.

Mate I love Crusemaster their stuff is excellent I'm just putting ATX in my caravan build but the Hitchezy coupling is the best hitch in the world. It self aligns doesn't bind it's sealed when in use and when not in use and because of it's pillar design it never binds. Rated in 3.5t and 5t. Trust me if the CM was better I'd have bought it.

Thank god they change dust cover! Old one is a pain to click on.

About time they did something with the dust cap, the previous dust cap is a piece of garbage, its so difficult to clip on.

Will the 45 hitch pin fit into a 35 hitch....(if you have a RAM and tow +3.5t so have a 45 pin, but happened to need to tow something smaller with a 35 hitch) or is it easy to switch pins...? However; would that mean you have to carry both sized pins with you all the time......? (sorry that must be such a stupid newbie question)....
@CRUISEMASTERCOUNTRY4 жыл бұрын
To accomodate the much heavier load the DO45 pin is substantially bigger as well as having an 1 1/4" shaft so isnt just a straight swap for the DO35. Some tow tongues/platforms have a sleave that allows you to use either 7/8" (standard) shaft or 1 1/4" but typically a differnt tongue would be needed for the DO35 and DO45. Hope this helps!

even a "HAIRDRESSER " can use it, nice comment on your Ronny Dahl show mate, I am a craftsman at my trade as you are at yours, ditch your preconceived ideas, that comment you made was the reason I didn't buy a Patriot camper.
