This 60 minute Sw1RL DJ mix covers a lot of musical territory in a short amount of time.
Mixed using the traditional setup, two turntables, a mixer and vinyl records, it was recorded live.

Great break mix. Memories of the foundation of hip-hop. Grew up on this. Had most on vinyl and some of the octopus break beats lol. Then my guys in castle hill came out with ultimate breaks and beats going deeper. There were others too....the lessons were great also. This is a fantastic set but I'm not convinced that it was done quite as described in the intro. My suspicion is that rather than using the original tracks they used a lot of the megamixes that got released in the 80's, eg at the time of writing I'm hearing the James brown mega mix and I suspect that at some point I will be hearing at least one of the lessons sets from DJ Shadow and cut chemist/steinski! Also what's with the dropouts?
