THE BEST OPTIMUS PRIME!!! AZURE SEA Optimus Prime vs. XM STUDIOS Optimus Prime - Statue Review!

Today we take a close look at the Azure Sea Optimus Prime statue based on the designs from the IDW Transformers comic books. This is a very impressive statue but not without its flaws (mainly 2 missing magnets). I also do a side by side comparison with the XM Studios Optimus Prime to see which one will reign as king of my Transformers statue collection! What do you think?

The pose is better on this however the design on the Optimus chest cab looks weird. Almost looks like it’s squinting. For that alone, XM wins hands down.

Even though I like the paint job on the blues and reds more on this one, I still like the XM one better. The head seems a bit tiny for the body on this one also. But overall it is a great piece. It’s just kind of weird though that they shipped it with super glue. 😆 Maybe you can use it to glue some small magnets on those loose fitting pieces?..🤷🏽‍♂️

No idea their Optimus was that large. I agree with your review, I think Azure Sea got the pose better. Both versions look great. I like how the colors pop, switch-outs, pose, and overall intensity for Azure. I"m going to give the XM the awards for more details, likeness, and I prefer the metallic colors a bit more. I say they're both worthy in staying in your collection. I"d be really happy with both.

Really nice piece. I'm glad I don't have enough space to even consider it. As it is, I can't divert from my XM Transformers collection. XM just showed Galvatron, so that's my next one.
