xeo didnt make japanese transformation, he just uploaded it and did some of the other diffs. the main diff (which is what most people refer to when they say japanese transformation) was made by fullerene years ago. you shouldve mentioned the deceit/the violation, it wouldve been especially appropriate for this video as well.

I had never heard of The Parallax II until earlier today when I saw someone with 14k combo on it obviously being the combo fiend that I am I sat down and played my first and only map of the day 72 minutes later I set my best score in the entire game. Then I see this video and Bojii already Fced with Dt someone give that man an award

I'm not good enough at mania to play that map, and I never want to be good enough at mania to play that map, but I love The Parallax II: Future Sequence so fucking much. I bought the album off their Bandcamp and put it on a CD to play in my car. Silent Flight Parliament is one of the best (and longest) songs I've ever heard.

It's impossible for me to pick just one score for best of 2022. However, my favorite score this year was Crewk's mindblowing Mastermind SS. So many attempts to finally pull it off. My second favorite score being XDerbyX's Distant Relatives +DT S rank. 800pp play in 10k. I play a bunch of 10k though so I'm biased.

Aside from the question, this video was really interesting and of course enjoyable. Being a new Mania player (now I am improving on 4-5 star maos now, getting S's on 4 stars) makes me really surprised and wowed from the documentary.
