Looking at the fabric of the Fjallraven, they're the same composition as Scruffs Worker trousers. There must be a difference though because Scruffs are £35 and Fjallravens are £100+

I have the 'non-super' Terra pants. They are fricking ace, Only negative being the 'reverse' front pockets that are the same height as a door handle. There is nothing on the face of the earth that will stop you in your tracks like catching them on a door handle. my eyes and internal organs all left my body like something out of a cartoon!

I’ve got the fals, great trou, BUT, if you’ve got tree trunks instead of legs (ex rugby prop) because of the lack of stretch they can be restrictive. Other than that they are bombproof Great vid mate

I'm a blacksmith and I managed to annihilate a pair of those screwfix work trousers in a matter of months. Grinder sparks burnt a hole in one of the thighs, and then one day I walked into the anvil and the horn went right through the hole and tore out the entire crotch. Felt the cold steel against my bollocks. I wear my leather apron more now :D

i have a pair of terra pants,looking for a more winter pair though. Been giving the vidda pro real consideration,waxing kills breathability,whereas a quick spray of nikwax/grangers for the super terra does not effect breathability. Now im thinking vidda pro a bit too bushcrafty,and dare i say fashion/designer ish (dickies/skuffs etc. much the same thing fraction of the price). Not happy with the big price difference between the terra and super terra £75 - £150. I might just stick with the terra and try out long johns underneath. cheers for the insight and infos to think over. Good show, keep it up.

For me, Fjallraven easily wins because they care about sustainability and ethical production. I’d rather send my money somewhere that funds regenerative agriculture and recycling, than somewhere solely focused on profit. Edit: Also free shipping on orders over $75 for Fjallraven compared to $400 for Montane.

Good info Hazey. Proved to me that I should stick with my Dickies pro's £20.00 a pair So what's that seven pairs possible for the same cost. They are cordura tuff as old boots very comfortable loads of storage my axe fits the hammer sling. Plus I don't give a toss how I look walking through Keswick bags or not, at least traffic should see me with my reflective patches ..... LOL Take are matey.

Hiked in shorts all week so can’t grumble. I’ve worn the super terra the past week though and they are superb.

@@JohannSebastianWainwright Go Outdoors didn’t have stock of the Terra Missions so I ended up with a pair of Super Terras for the sale price of the Missions. Tried them on my last camp and they are fantastic quality, way too hot for summer but should be great as the temperatures drop. I picked up some leather Karrimor Orkney boots with Vibram soles from Sports Direct for just £25 over summer, not the lightest boots but amazing comfort, definitely some good deals still to be had, the standard Terra pants remain my favourite clothing though, something I should have bought long ago!

My work trousers have become my bushcraft pants, Stihl Fs3 protect air vents at the back waterproof nice and comfy....downside get a size lower than needed your arsecrack going though

I got the vidda pro in December 2019. In January on a camp a stray spark from the fire 🔥 landed on the bottom. Burnt a wee hole 🕳 in them. I was gutted. I emailed fjallraven to see what to do and they sent me a selection of little patches. To match the colour. And wonder web it on. That’s the only trouble I’ve had. I’ve worn them so much since. Got wet and they dried quick. I haven’t waxed them yet. And yes they look good down the pub. Spot on pants. The Montanes are strictly for adventures. Not the pub. I’ve got the terras which I lived in before the viddas. Again no issues. A bit cold in winter. But that’s it. Good review this. I may get some new fjallraven pants near the end of the year. Maybe kebs. Who knows? We’ll probably all be sat in our pants 🩲 until then, doing reviews of the carpet. Or the wallpaper. Who knows?? Who knows. Atb. 👍

I got some Montane Terra pants last year and they are amazing! Previously had much cheaper hiking pants and sorta got sucked in to buying a pair when my local Go Outdoors closed for relocation, so got some at under £60 👍 wouldn’t go back now, super quick to dry, offer good wind resistance, breathable and comfortable all day long. My only regret is not getting a pair sooner. I got the Terra Alpine shorts for summer which are great for a dip in a lake and have enough pockets. Looking at the Super pants for added warmth in winter.
