I feel like a lot of people forget electrical tools. DMM, strippers, butt connectors, a few lengths of wires, picks to take apart OEM connectors. Wiring will leave you just as stranded as a bad wheel bearing. Also having the Factory Service Manuals including wiring diagrams on your phone.

Best complete tool kit I’ve seen. I carry a very similar supply of tools, but I don’t have the organized bags. I either have a few tool bags, so I can distribute the weight and distribute the tools in the car, in smaller areas, or I have a durable heavy duty backpack. I like your system better. I have to invest in those type of roll up bags. My friends make fun of me until someone gets in trouble. I also have a fire extinguisher, axe, Side cutters, gloves, eye protection. Aluminum floor Jack, & aluminum jack stands I’m sure you do too.

Yes, those are all important parts of a complete rig kit! If you’re going out to some of these remote places, somebody’s got to have those tools!

Honestly its kinda small looking its a bit more than i carry in my daily driver 15 minutes to work but less than id carry in my shitbox to go a mile down the road lol definitely would have more offroading impacts electrical kit specialty tools for axle nuts ball joint press for u joints and and of course spare parts. But for something that isnt a 40 year old shitbox you may not need as much as me

Do you really need full sets of each metric and SAE to work on one vehicle? why not pick out the sizes you actually need for your machine? seems excessive to haul a whole garages worth of tools everywhere and shows a "bring the kitchen sink" mentality.

Part of it depends on your role in the group. If you want to be able to fix other people’s stuff and be the guy who has every tool, then this kit is for you. I agree if you were just by yourself it’s a lot of extra weight. That said, I am always glad to have somebody with a tool set like this in my convoy!
