I'm also a fan of the hanna barbera design Not only is the design it's own thing while taking inspiration from the wedge and jpn pac man design But it also made pac man look straight out of a hanna barbera cartoon Come to think of it, the design also wouldn't look too out of place In a dic cartoon I mean pac man's hanna barbera design looks straight out of the super mario bros super show

In my opinion I love both Party Pac-Man and Ghostly Adventures are the best designs of Pac-Man. They’re both similar in design but when Pac-Man party launched for the Wii. In the game Pac-Man’s shoes are orange mixed with red. However the party design was reused in Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions for the 3DS, Street Fighter X Tekken and Hot Shots Golf World Invitational Japanese version only. However he retained his party design in both SFXT and HSGWI. The only difference is his eyes changed a little bit. His gloves shows his fingers and his shoes are red in SFXT. And In HSGWI the only thing that changed is his gloves only showing his thumb. Ghostly Adventures Pac-Man first starred in his show Pac-Man and The Ghostly Adventures. I loved the show and wished it got a 3rd season finally letting Pac be with his parents. And the cool power berry transformation that Pac has. Ghostly Adventures Pac-Man is a playable character in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX where he is voiced by Debi DerryBerry who voiced his party counterpart in the English Version and in the Japanese version he most likely used his Japanese voice clips from his ghostly adventures game.

The one thing about Hanna-Barbera cartoons is that alot of their characters especially funny animal ones tended to have a headwear, they probably gave the cartoon version of Pac-Man a hat just because.

I always found the Hanna-Barbera Pac-Man charming! His little hat is so iconic! Also, Greg Martin deserves even more credit for his work!

Fun fact in pac man world 3 pac man is voiced by Martin shreman He also voiced thomas the tank engine at one point

The creator of Smash Bros. has said that he strongly considered cutting Pac-Man from the roster if Namco forced him to use the Ghostly Adventures design.

To me the best pacman design....is Modern pacman because why not....he is Pacman....to be modern pacman is tobey maguire while pacster/patga Pacman represents well....tom holland..... Hey i adore some of the others designs like cereal pac,wedge pacman but i wish cereal pac had boots and also being in the arcade art than that GOD DAM Q*BERT MUTATION!!!! 1:10 spanish midway pacman is closer to being good but.....he is still being call Q*bert mutation.

I have 2 honorable mentions for you. 1. Street Fighter X Tekken Pac-Man. He’s pretty much party Pac-Man but with red gloves and red shoes. Although his eyes are a little bit smaller and his gloves shows his fingers. 2. Hot Shots Golf World Invitational Pac-Man. He’s just party Pac-Man but his gloves only shows his thumb and he doesn’t have a voice actor.

I tend to associate the hat with his Pac-Land design. I’m not sure whether Pac-Land or HB Pac came first.

HB was first by two years. The show was over for almost a full year before Pac-Land hit Japanese arcades.

My favorite design of Pac-Man is the “Namco Community Magazine” one. There’s something charming about that design in the magazines. I’ll just call him “NG Pac-Man”. It’s a really cool redesign. It looks like a 2.5d model.

I still care both for Pac-Land, Ms. Pac-Man and Jr. Pac-Man, I still hate the fact that Ms. Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, and Baby Pac-Man have been replaced by Pac-Mom, and Pac-Sis due to AtGames legal issues.
