Another good overview! You should keep updating these :-) I agree with what you said about the two pairs I have, a couple of things to add: OLLO Alphas: so true about the dust gathering and performance on rails. I'd add poor performance on plywood which can be a problem at some gyms. But they're unparalleled on brick walls. Vans Ultrarange EXO: They're excellent on grass + good on most urban surfaces. But they still break easily. I even tore the outsole running on brick.

Maybe look into barefoot shoes in another video. Shoes like the Freet Flex, Xero Prio, Xero 360, Vivobarefoot Motus , Vivobarefoot primus light, or Ahinsa Chitra .

update on the ollo's, they have switched to their propriatary KTT1 sole, or 0110 sole? idk, anyway no long wear in time or anything and they are crazy grippy on everything, they do catch dust somewhat quick but dust them off and they squeak on any surface it's some black magic shit istg
@Juneismii Жыл бұрын
Personally I think the grip on the classics are bad but maybe im insane 😀

now that you tested both the reebok nylons and the adidas 3mc's, which one do you prefer yourself? also im looking for shoes myself and i'm hung up between these shoes, my style of parkour generally involves far and heavy impact jumps and cats, and i've had to wear insoles for quite a long time during my child and early teen years, so the extremely low heel of the 3mc scares me a bit, although i think the look miles and miles better than the reeboks. in terms of cushioning i've been using using generic adidas running shoes with full foam sole for the past 3 years, and even though the grip was horrendous, i quite liked the amount of cushioning they had so i'm looking for something similar to that i'd love to hear your insights
@empireparkour2 жыл бұрын
The reebok will definitely provide more cushion with a similar level of grip. There is also a newer adidas shoe called the Raid3r, it is almost identical to the 3mc but it fits a little bigger and has more cushioning.

Do you have any idea of Nike Vaporflys would be any good?
@empireparkour Жыл бұрын
We have not used them but based on their appearance they look like they might have a bit too much cushion! Up to your preference though!
@Trackreator Жыл бұрын
Here we are! Vaporflys are thought for road running, they have air bubbles and carbon fiber plate insole. Really good for marathon and half but parkour is another discipline! I strongly advise against them for parkour.

Would the Reebok Club Memt be good for parkour? I’m in Canada, and it is very hard to find the nylons.
@ZephZert2 жыл бұрын
The memt is also rubber bottomed.
@empireparkour2 жыл бұрын
With a solid rubber bottom they should be good! Just make sure they aren't so thick that you can't feel anything under them!

It's all a matter of preference!
@Trackreator2 жыл бұрын
@@vitomarcolaspisa9316 it depends on outdoor or indoor trainings, the surfaces you face and basically how many times you train per week. The more you train the more the shoe has to be durable. For the indoor I'd say less cushions than the outdoors but more grip 'cause I mean when I used to train, when I trained outdoor I had more drops then indoor and indoor I needed more grip for my climbs. But that's MY TRAINING. Then the more the shoe sustain your foot, the more it is right with its size (the shoe must be little tight on the foot) and the less you spend the game is done correctly!
