For video editing, particularly with Resolve, having multiple drives is typically the way to go, as far as I'm aware. Having your raw footage on a drive separate from where you have Resolve located appears to really help in keeping things from beginning to chug.
@kevinpark46826 ай бұрын
can you explain the seperate drives? I'm using resolve and not much of a tech person.
@SamuraiiAE5 ай бұрын
@@kevinpark4682 your drive has a certain speed that data can be read and written in, and having software running uses some of that buffer. Your OS(operating system) uses some that passively already and then any additional software will add to that. Having your project files on a separate drives means that they wont impede on each other p.s. im not really super knowledgeable on this stuff so i could be wrong, but this is what i have gathered from reading some stuff and watching a few videos
@RawdawgSpeedStunts5 ай бұрын
@@kevinpark4682I’m new to this as well but - From what I understand it’s beneficial to a certain extent to have your raw footage on a separate storage device from your video editing software. For example: I use Premiere and it’s installed to my computer’s internal storage drive while my raw footage gets dumped to my Western Digital 7TB external hard drive. (edit) It’s a WD 8* TB external hard drive

How? Did you install drivers incorrectly? Are you sure the games you were playing were at fault and not the GPU brand? The 4060ti is not a good graphics card.

Do your research on MOBO's, a lot of the B650's are apparently really bad.

Not the one he's got. It's a tomahawk, it's got solid VRMs. The cheap B650 board will get what you pay for.

Try to find ram of lower latency like 32 or 34 and I would suggest you to go for xpg s70 blade SSD or Kingston kc3000.they are better in performance

@@_notl.namel_ yeah its a pretty good combo, in general the 13600k is a well-balanced cpu, so it works really well in anything(except pure gaming where 7600x is slightly better)
