Alot of these servers seem super modded, zero is amazing on all maps.. not sure why anyone would wanna play a pve or no kos server.. kind of takes away any looming danger and fear of death. Like, what exactly do you do on a pve server? Stack loads of loot? To each their own I suppose

NEO is also a great place to learn to drive a car because you type a chat command and a car spawns near you. Giving you a chance to learn I drive beforehand. Clearly that's a not vanilla but we do it so players don't have to download the mod directly themselves. We also have NEO Clockwork, that is still in beta but it's intended to become a stepping stone. You definitely need the fear of loss. Hey, do I approach this person or will I lose my gear... So I'm not disagreeing with you but people need a place to get the foundations down and that's what NEO does. Through not being killed constantly and by having experienced players who will take you hunting or teach you to fish or whatever you want to do...

I even had my dad joined and he tells me all the time out of all the servers I have dragged him to that this is the best one!

Gotta say the ability to type /car gunter and have a fully built ready to drive gunter fall from the sky next to you is a selling point for many people. With the multitude of servers available, it can often be overwhelming to choose the right one. Therefore, I am extremely grateful for your guidance in this matter. I believe the reason why you are likely receiving a majority of the Neo Farmers server traffic is because of the enticing offer of a free shirt. Personally, I refrain from leaving forced comments when faced with bribery tactics. Hence, I will provide you with my honest opinion. The player community at Neo Farmers is exceptional and they greatly contribute to the server's success. However, there have been instances where the staff's behavior has been questionable and they haven't always been transparent with the truth. Despite this, it remains a good place to play when the servers are operational. Unfortunately, there have been frequent instances of server downtime lately, with a total of seven rollbacks occurring in the past three weeks.

I have a server you may be interested in. It's a deer isle server that's vanilla with a few sprinkles. It has boats, bags, multi use scopes and AI but not your usual AI that just patrol. These don't patrol at all, they hunt you. Some you can recruit, some you can loot and some you can't. It is PVP but most people have been getting together to take on the AI as they are a bit of a pain (they spawn anywhere on the map). There are 5 different types also on there with varying degrees of difficulty. It's low pop, which is ideal for doing the quests. It's call Just another deerisle server. Give it a bash and see how you like it. Oh and the nights are vanilla dark and the AI have been eating carrots lol

I learned how to play DayZ on NEO Farmers back when it was a really small community! The admins are great and the community is top notch. You also can spawn a car after you join the discord and verify. One of my favorite servers that i keep going back to!

I was looking for a good server to learn on and have fun looting and exploring without constantly worrying about being shot. I tried official and it was okay, but I found NEO Farmers a few weeks ago and I am really enjoying it. Everyone I've met has been friendly, and many offered help or advice, or even trades. The discord is full of nice people and helpful information. It's now my main server I play on. It even has a PvP area for those that enjoy it but don't want it all the time. Can't recommend it enough.

NEO Farmers is seriously the BEST! My husband just happen to find this server and it has been such a great place to learn and the community is always so helpful. The admins respond to issues quickly which makes the server run smoothly. There’s the ability to spawn cars, see an in game map, and there are often events on the weekend that are created by members on the server such as a boxing event, a paintball event, a race, etc. These are so much fun! If you’re looking for a Vanilla server with friendly people and no KOS this is the right one. We have really enjoyed it!

Hey, can I recommend ZombieX? You mentioned a hardcore server in this video, if you like this type of setup, ZombieX would definitely be one for you. There are no QoL mods there, zombies are difficult and spawn all over the place, you can catch the zombie virus, cars are more realistic. The aim of ZombieX is to be as realistic as it can get. I would love to hear your opinion :)

Aftermath has BY FAR the best servers on DayZ. Very balanced modded servers. All servers today are just modded to the ground ruined by kids thinking running around with Nike track suits and 50 cals is DayZ.

Ironically, IMO aftermath is one of the worst servers. Corrupt admins, owners that listen to feedback like riot listens to theirs, and pvp experience that gets boring in less than second due to over half the server being seated in bushes and fearing fights all due to how fast ttk is and that its always run back from the coast and the only thing the owners fear more than raid defenders not getting effectively removed from the fight on single bullet and every fight basically ending in 2 shots is night time. Also nike track suit and 50cals are far more tolerable than bunch of rats sitting in bushes with ghillies and 50cals

NEO is awesome. Gaming for 48 years and I probably have spent more time with this discord community than any other. People go out of their way to help you. The Admin/server owners are constantly around, helping out, putting up missions which spawn rare gear, handling bad actors very expeditiously. If you like Dayz exploring, gearing, base building, hunting, fishing, comradery without the constant sniper in a house waiting 12 hours IRL to headshot you and want to hang with some of the most down to earth people on the internet, look no further, come join us!

Saviors of vanilla is a fun one. Play on Chernarus map. Only complaint is a lot of players KOS. Even if they are full geared and you’re just in hunting clothes filling a water bottle. But from what I understand it’s a common thing to run into in DayZ.

Kind of depends on what kind of adventure you want? When we started NEO (not saying its the server for you) we played on Farmers Association (partly where our name came from). It was incredible! Interaction before killing someone was encouraged so it made for some funny stories and adventures. But at the end of the day each person has different wants and finds enjoyment in different things. If you gave more details about what you enjoy or don't enjoy, people could better recommend a server to you.

Neo Farmers doesn't just have cars that are "easier to find". The server description, itself, says that is has "Self spawn cars". Does that mean what I think it does? That you can just spawn a car into the game on your own? If so that sounds way too easy. imo

In my experiences 150 is ok. Just stay under 200. I find that I prefer to stay under 180 or 170 if possible.

I can across an admin who runs a DayZ server for PlayStation called Livonia Nation's He has clearly put in a ton of work to make a thriving community.. their discord seems nice, got some nice graphics and advertisements. I probably chatted with the owner for 3 hours a few nights ago just about marketing and such. I was impressed enough that I gave him a token donation, to help keep the servers running. Anybody who put that much work into a server clearly carea about DayZ. As I've never played console other than Xbox I can't say first hand but he was super friendly and helpful. Which to me goes a long way to the success of any server. There were role play and non-role play options. Worth checking out to learn more.

I love day z . Shame i cant play for longer then 10 minutes without it freezing and closing down , anyone know a fix ?? Theres no addons game ran admin all that

DayZ was created as a SURVIVAL game. Wilderness, natures elements, animals, crafting... open world. People. All I see focused on here for the most part is pvp.

Most of the servers I have been seeing lately have this travel between maps feature through travel stations. I saw comments about the dayzed mod and that they fake the number of players or something so they look full but aren't. Anyone else seeing these ? They all have exactly 17 mods and high player count. I want a real server with real people. . . Is this true?

Those are two different things. There is a mod called map link that allows a server owner to link their maps, so you can travel between maps and keep your character much like going from official Chernarus to official Livonia... You keep your black plater carrier and travel between maps. As to the spoofed player count, that is certainly a possibility, though the majority of the servers are not doing it. However if that is really a big concern of yours then LaunchZ accounts for this and gives accurate numbers. I am also told that the new official version will also accommodate for this we well. Meaning that it will give more details and prevent server owners from cheating at it.

u need the dzsa launcher for modded servers. just use the search filter to type the names of specific servers u want, hit play, and it will bring up a prompt asking if you'd like to auto-install the required mods. click ok, wait, and once done, you're in the server.
