Do you worry about it causing more work for the already overworked, understaffed, and underpaid veterinary clinic staff? Genuinely asking. I love that its convenient to pet owners, but worry about the extra stress it will place on veterinary staff, especially when the veterinary field does not yet have designated insurance liasions on staff at hospitals like in human med. Maybe that will change in the future as pet insurance becomes more popular and widely used? Sometimes I worry about pet insurance creating some of the same issues in veterinary medicine as it has caused in human medicine.

I don’t think so? Even if it did I’d think clinics would be ok doing it because the insurance companies are providing the $$$.

Why do you think it's creating more work since they already handle getting paid cash or credit card from people ? ... so I'm confused as to why you think it just creates more work for them when it's just another form of payment.... isn't it unless I'm missing something ?
