I find the transfer prices in FM23 so high that it doesn't match hardly of the any of the clubs budgets. to buy more than one decent player per season, in fact makes it hard to buy one player

Very few real life transfers are paid in one lump sum these days. Have to use add ons and instalments. How you structure them is up to you. Some people go over the top with buy now pay later deals and struggle further down the line and wonder why their budgets are tiny.

Btw everyone fm have come out and said there is a bug with wonderkids potential ability and them not developing properly I’m having the same problem, i simmed 10 years I’m and hardly any world beaters. So it makes sense.

Interestingly, Mbappe has the "Legendary" media description in that save even though he's not 30 years old yet. If you wanted Wonderkids, why not add an Age filter of around 20-25?
