The Best Pomegranate Delights 🍷 Aloe Vera Juice, Roasted Chicken Legs & Mixed Fruit Glacier Dessert

In today's video, join me as I explore the vibrant flavors of pomegranate in a variety of delightful recipes! Pomegranate seeds, with their rich red and pink hues, drop into the tray like precious gems. The sunlight filtering through the Kabolila tree adds an extra shine to these beautiful seeds.
➡️ Our trusty sour orange tree, which has been fruitful since my childhood, continues to bear an abundance of oranges. Combining the juice from these oranges with aloe vera gel and pomegranate juice, along with a touch of sugar and salt, creates a refreshing and calming drink that’s simply divine. For a savory treat, I marinated chicken legs with salt, pepper, and pomegranate syrup, and roasted them to perfection. The aroma was incredible, and they paired wonderfully with traditional tempered noodles made with carrot, leeks, and eggs, served alongside coconut milk curry.
Reminiscing about my school days, I decided to make meringue cookies, or “kisses,” just like I used to sneak into my school bag. Beating egg whites with sugar, vanilla essence, and lime juice until thick, I baked them and filled the centers with pieces of strawberries, black grapes, and pomegranate. These sweet treats are perfect for a chat with my father.
➡️ For evening tea, I prepared a sweet treat by frying string hoppers and drizzling them with caramel made from pomegranate syrup. I also boiled some dried pomegranate flowers. This unique twist on caramel, typically made with treacle, was a delightful change and paired perfectly with a hot cup of tea. Embrace nature, be good, do good, and enjoy life. Hey Poorna. I would like to title this beautiful video "A Little Piece of Heaven". As I was watching the video I couldn't help but think that this is the way God meant us to live...in nature, with respect and love!!! It was wonderful to see the food tasters, bodyguards and the watchers again, to hear the peacocks in the background among other nature sights and sounds thanks to your brother. I learnt something new today. I didn't know aloe vera was edible. I thought it was only used for medicinal purposes. Pomegranates are exquisite fruits!!! The insides look like ruby red precious stones!!! The pomegranate and aloe float looked delicious as did the mixed fruit volcano ( it looked like a volcano erupted on the glaciers!!! All my love and hugs to the food tasters, body guards, watchers, videographer and you Poorna a very talented content maker. Keep the videos coming. Best wishes from Florida!!!
