The Best Pool Day, Driving Around The Island & Grilling Out For Lunch! | Anna Maria Island Day 2!

When Tim was explaining the plans for the day my instant thought was that the next time you guys should do a my toddler picks what we do for the day or my toddler picks what we do at Disney. That would be so fun! Was definitely hoping for a grocery haul. Anyways that pool looks amazing and the golf cart is essential. So excited for the next episode!

If you don’t have a grill brush I use a pair of tongs and ball up a piece of tin foil and hold it in the tongs and it works to clean the grill. Then toss the foil in trash. I haven’t used a grill brush for a long time since the pieces of the wire can fall off onto the grill and get in your food and it’s a definite chocking hazard! Just an FYI. Love the vacation videos!

Looks like a great time! Quick tip, you can crumple up some aluminum foil into a ball,flatten it out a bit, use that to scrub down the grill.

We never use a grill brush, we use half an onion to clean the grill when it's hot. I've seen it been done that way since I was a kid and use that method til this day. Not sure if it's a hispanic thing but we've never gotten sick from it.

I only learned about give kids the world from watching you videos. Long time follower and have always had a good feeling about the person you were off camera Tim. But that may not always be true in real life. Today I got personal confirmation from give kids the world representatives. The company I work for has taken give kids the world as their charity of choice. Today some representatives came to tell us more about the charity and to thank you for our donations. When asked if we heard of the charity before working I was the only one that said yes. They asked how I had heard and told them I learned about them through you. They then went on to tell me a story about how you suprised a young lady that was going blind as she was an avid follower. You and your family are wonderful and I look forward to following you for many years. Maybe someday I will see you at Disney.

Breakfast looked wonderful, and that view out back is awesome! Lunch looked awesome too, and loved the "ktschy" store - my kinda place, for sure! :) I agree - shopping in an unfamiliar grocery store is confusing. Although I haven't been in a store since March of 2020, so it would ALL confuse me now! LOL That slide goes pretty fast;' I loved watching Jackson have an absolute BALL on it!! I agree, Tim - those are "creepy statue kids" - they should make friends with the "creepy Nanny chairs" at the Boardwalk! LOL . I live 10 minutes from Anna Maria...impossible for us locals to drive to the beach because of tourists. It uses to be a small community. Now it is filled with tall condos. Sad.

I so want to go there, I have a very good friend from college that lives in St Petersburg which is not far and she goes to that beach all the time. So if you see a gal with tons of flamingo stuff with a great smile ask if she is a flaminga sista and tell her hi from her flaminga sis in ks. There is six of us and it all started in college marching band back in the 80s

If you don’t have a grill brush, just take some aluminum foil and make a ball out of it. Get tongs and pinch the foil so that you have a grip on it and you can scrape the grill. Once the grill is hot, it works great in a pinch!
