It looks delicious but I would prefer less oil it is not too healthy to eat alot of oil,I ate Potatoe leaves in West Demoine,I enjoyed it a lot and I would love to prepare it,and secondly I would recommend you use sea salt or Himalayan pink Salt in cooking it is more healthier, thanks for the recipe.

I thought potato leaves are poisonous. I was searching on KZbin whether potato leaves are poisonous or not coz i wanna try it and there is a video that says its poisonous and here there's a recipe... 😟😕🙁 "my Family garden channel" Is where i found out that potato leaves are poisonous. Can anyone clarify it for me please?
@antoinettegeorge72673 жыл бұрын
Hi dear, so am not a medical person so I don’t have the right to say it’s poisonous or not. The only thing I can say for sure is that potato leaves have not proved to be harmful to Sierra Leoneans. It’s one of our favorites (every Sierra Leonean home cooks potato leaves) and there’s nothing wrong with it. I’ve been eaten potato leaves for the past 26 years that I’ve lived 🤣🤣 Cheers
@niklassimmons3353 жыл бұрын
Potato leaves are poisonous. These are sweet potato leaves which are not.
@neutronstarjulygirl3 жыл бұрын
@@antoinettegeorge7267 is that a sweet potato leave or potato leave? Coz not once did you mention sweet potato so o assume it to be potato leave and not sweet potato. Please clarify it for me

@@neutronstarjulygirl sweet potato leaves. In my country Sierra Leone where I come from, in hospital for they always recommend it for pregnant women who are in the village who are anaemic who cannot afford to buy medicine to be eating it frequently to boost the blood system for the mother and child

But potato leaves are POISONOUS!!! It is the sweet potatoes that are edible. Sweet potatoes and regular potatoes are totally different plants, belonging to two very different plant genetics. Africans almost always use and grow sweet potatoes--even if they may not be sweet in taste
@antoinettegeorge72672 жыл бұрын
These are sweet potato leaves. They’re not poisonous.
