You have a good point. It all comes together with an almost whole look. The only disparity is the feet where the blue and yellow zords are. Meanwhile most modern zords have a problem with having their parts stand out. However there are some exceptions I feel like Dino Thunder and Mystic Force Zords were closest to the "made to be one" look... at least in show

There were some later Saban and even Disney Megazords that looked cohesive, like in Lightspeed Rescue, Wild Force, and SPD, but I think the increasing messiness of more modern Megazords is due to the Sentai they’re adapted from revisiting a lot of aesthetics that have already been done multiple times over. There’s only so many ways you can make a combining mecha made out of dinosaurs or other animals before you run out of ideas. I think that’s also why vehicle-based Megazords tend to look more cohesive.
