For everyone who thinks that this is stupid or demonic, you are the ones in the wrong. The Bible says to praise God with dancing, singing, jumping, running, shouting praises, lifting your hands, and so many other things are praises to God. Simply doing nothing is not praise, praise requires some physical movement like praying you have to say something with your mouth. If we can use our bodies to do evil things why can't we use our bodies for God. If God just wanted us to praise Him just in our hearts we would be floating spirits just roaming the earth. God gave us bodies for a reason and that reason is so we can praise Him.

I was saved in a black church when I was 17. Never had been around it or heard speaking of tongues before. I watched an older black man dancing in the aisles. When Creflo Dollar did the alter call, that same black man tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I wanted to go up. He held my hand and praised with me. If he had not been there, or I had not been in that kind of church, I may not have accepted Jesus. I was too afraid to cry in a quiet southern Baptist church.

Man I'm a Roman Catholic, if my church was this fun I would be there every week, sometimes two or three times!! I mean don't get me wrong, my church is fine and all, but it's the same thing every week, the priest reads from the Bible, makes a crack about baseball talks about the weather and we go home. It's hard to say WHO or WHAT people are dancing for.When I was steeped in this chaos, I had not seen one person who engaged in this kind of activity, NOT express hatred in their hearts towards someone. I've seen people dance and shout like they were possessed, and would gossip and backbite against people like they were nothing. Nobody knows the condition of anyone's heart...which we are told is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked(Jer 17:9). We can "tweak and twerk for God" all we want, but nothing brings Him glory, and nothing offers Him praise more than obedience. Fancy dance steps don't exalt Him, it exalts the dancer. It's nothing but bodily exercise that has very little profit when it comes to living a godly lifestyle. If someone has something "smart" to say, it's because they see black folk do this stuff time and time again, yet don't see it resulting in any real change

It's unfortunate that you can't understand this fact: John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; THE FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. These words by Christ speak volumes. Dancing and shouting are excited fleshly responses. Anybody, and I mean...ANYBODY...can dance around like a drunkard, jump up and down and run around the sanctuary when music is playing. The music does nothing but excite our flesh, and it's no different that a sports fan jumping up and down and dancing when their team scores a touchdown, or sinks a winning basket. God is not impressed by people cutting well-choreographed steps. That is by no means a sign of godliness, and as I stated before, God does NOT get glory out of a fleshly display of excitement, no matter how much you'd like to think He does.He looks SOLELY at the heart, while Pentecostal church folk are impressed by fancy dance steps, and are quick to call it "praise." You then ask me if I know their hearts. I can only go by what scripture declares: Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? So yes, every single one of these people portrayed in this video have hearts that are desperately wicked. I can't help it if you don't believe scripture. Black folk in general spend so much energy cutting steps and getting all emotional in church, and totally neglecting their character. Dancing and shouting does nothing to make people more godly. And this leads me to your next assertion about king David. I probably have heard this mess uttered by 20 thousand black folk..."David danced out of his clothes." Number one, it's sad that black folk seem to want to always be like DAVID, and not so much like CHRIST. Secondly, although David danced, we know that it did NOTHING to change his vile heart. Notice David's deathbed request to his son Solomon in 1 Kings 2:6. It was for Solomon to kill Joab, so as to insure that Joab doesn't go peacefully to the grave. So, David's last act, being an act of unforgiveness, shows that he, as well as every other old testament figure, did NOT have the holy spirit dwelling INSIDE them, and therefore could not exhibit ANY fruit of the spirit. So, point being, all of David's dancing did nothing for his heart, and similarly, none of the fleshly and excitable gyrations that people are doing in this clip is causing any of them to make their hearts any less wicked. The spirit of God doesn't come upon us to make us buck dance, it comes upon us to cause us to behave and live godly lifestyles of self control, love, faith, peace, joy, gentleness, goodness, meekness and longsuffering. Buck dancing simply is not a part of what brings God praise. Finally, your assertion that my words are not bringing God glory either, and that He is glorified in unity. All I can saw is..."wow." First of all, when Christ called out the foolishness and error of the scribes and Pharisees, He very well was bring His Father glory, because God does not delight in foolishness, and wants none of His followers to do the same. Believers in Christ, equally, are called to expose and avoid nonsense. Yes, God wants "unity," but He doesn't want us to be unified with fleshly foolishness. That means, calling that which is fruitless, fruitless...which is what I'm doing. All that said, I want to make it clear that I do not...and I repeat...DO NOT say that dancing and shouting is wrong. People like you tend to get very defensive when someone points out that this is nothing but carnal behavior, which is my sole point. I can say this from experience, because I buck danced and shouted almost every Sunday back when I was engulfed in all this silliness. In fact, I was always disappointed when there wasn't an opportunity for me to get up and impress people with my buck dance. Thankfully, I was brought to see that all of the buck dancing and jumping up and down did nothing to change my heart. Yes, it felt pretty darn good while I did it, as I'm sure all the people in this video clip feel pretty good while THEY are buck dancing. But the fact is, only one thing brings God praise, and that is obedience. Buck dancing is only bodily exercise that profits little: 1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. Sorry this is so long. I'm sure this will not help you, but my hope is that someone will read this who needs more information on how fruitless all this fleshly buck dancing is. Reba Bend , that may have been a demon, not entirely sure, as Satan feel like lightning, "And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." Luke 10:18. I believe that's Jesus' talking, and also, I think Holy Spirit is a calm Presence along other such instances as well. Many cultures and people around dance to show happiness. So yes praise outside of Catholic Church is very free and full of dancing. The dancing is t wild to act a fool but a manifestation of the trials and emotional warfare the person has gone through. When they think on how God has done so much for them when they were hopeless they can't find any other way to express what they feel so the shout and dance.

I sicerely wonder how this smells in the Fathers nostrils. I can remember a young drummer who would often get bored behind the drum set at church and whisper "Im gonna make 'em shout". He would hit the bass drum and two whacks on the snare drum and within seconds everybody is jumping all over the church. This Holy Ghost Power seems to be inspired by the drum and its uncanny ability to keep you moving on rhythm. Scripture tells us to pray, and not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. People pick out hats and outfits and shoes to go clubbin at weekly Sunday service. They want to be seen. They want to be loud. They must present to everyone attending, their level of hollines, play saved. Its all vain. Does it really edify or build the Kingdom.
