how about C as the first language? I mean i did some python and arduino coding before but not a lot. And I'm interested in computers and microcontrollers a lot rather than the web.

As I mentioned in the video, if you are a hobbyist, you can pursue whichever language you fancy. I you are interested in embedded development as a career, choose languages that are needed by the industry. C, and C++, I think, are the most sought after in the industry.
