Thanks for the video, really appreciate your explanation during the duels, i really need some guide to play this Icejade Archtype.. cuz im keep losing while using this deck in Event, i used Icejade with Yosenju/Basic Kaiju without field spell it doesn’t work that way. There's a few ways to build Icejades. You can focus on the lock, but there are some decks that can get by this, notably backrow decks like spell/trap/pend. Cenote Enion Cradle is a very core part of the deck, so you got to do what you can to protect it. Likewise, Aegirine has a built in protection, if you have Cenote Enion Cradle on the field, you can special summon any icejade from your deck or graveyard and then reduce Opponent attack by 1500 or 2500 pending, and if it was a graveyard card, you get that resource back in your hand. It's better to leave the 5 stars or lower in the grave because they can reborn your icejades if they're sent to the grave. Likewise, you can play bounce method by having Icejade Kosmochlor on the field, and using the Icejade Kingfisher to bounce back any monster with ATK less than or equal to Kosmochlor's. When Rahn and Gymir come, which are Aegirine's upgrades, this deck will be very strong and what I would consider rogue.

ive been throwing icejade and runick together which somehow manages to work since they're both very defensive/stall based and because of all that banishing runick does the 400 atk/def boost from aegiro per banished monster can go stupidly high, the fact that this works at atk declaration makes it even funnier

How does that work when they both need a field spell? I feel it would be hard to play those decks together

@@simpking2500 its not like i try to make them both do their thing at the same time it depends on opening hand but most games has opponent perceives the runic side as the immediate threat for obvious reasons, icejade ends up as another wall for the opponent to get through before they're able to kill me since its not like runic uses a normal summon and can serves as another form of disruption/interaction against the opponent on a more offensive lvl that icejades doesnt really provide while also giving icejade some draw power too through the field spell and being able to protect your icejade spell/traps through hugin icejade having a big lvl 7 tuner in aegiro can sync with the runick's lower lvl fusion into big threats that i even found some interesting transition from runic into icejade when i opened with runick tip as my only runic and some handtraps; used tip to get any other runick quickplay and banish 1, summon geri with runick card and then normal an ash blossom to sync into deep sea prima donna who can summon aegirine from deck and then sync into baronne/chengying after getting off aegirine's search and aegiro really does turn any icejade into a psuedo gren maju if given the chance to from all the runick's banishing

I would say add General into the deck so if they want to use effects they pay a 1 card till each.

Duel VS trains opponent could've Zeus again and maybe win, don't know why he didn't, unless you play extravagance or something, kosmochlor should always be the priority when you go 2nd of in subsequent turns. I'm playing pure pure icejade (only generics are chengyin, Barone and marincess rank 2), and it's really funny when the opponent stops and notices he can't do anything, it's not a great deck, but I like that it can survive handtraps if the opponent doesn't know (who knows icejade anyway) and it's pretty much immune to Maxx c.

I’ve made this deck better myself imo I like your premise but if you make the marincess link first with argrine and kosmochlor then bring back kosmochlor with coral anemones effect then use the field spell to drop kosmochlor to 0 and make God slime is a better play. Since you can choose next turn whether to bring back aegrine or kosmochlor. People nowadays are running HEAVY back row removal and with just leaving aegrine on the field your deck doesn’t stop them from activating effects.

I have a similar icejade deck, but it is purer than yours. I use frogs and forbidden droplets to help seed my graveyard with icejades and to protect aegerine. Since aegerine is the main focus, I only use my extra deck to get anemone to recover aegerine. It is one of my favorite decks, since players have so much trouble with it, as they crash into icejades thinking they have enough attack.

You do realize when curse, cenote, and the lvl 10 are on the field at the same time your opponent cannot activate effects permanently. The level ten states only the the turn opponent monsters are summoned can they activate effects, curse states they cannot active the turn they are summoned so when both are in play your opponent can never activate effects of summoned monsters period

Yup it's a one sided skill drain, but even better because effects can't be activated so no "costs" that are actually benefits
