​@@QuinBoBin Makes sense. I checked and only 3 Zonai Dispensers in the entire game carry Sleds, making them surprisingly rare. Same thing with Cannons and Hover Stones. A good alternative in this kind of pinch is the Hovercarft Schema Stone you can get from a Construct in the Abandoned Gerudo Mine. You can even Autobuild it for cheaper if you pull some of the other components from the Inventory, especially the Light because almost always there are more than a few in inventory because Brightbloom Seeds tend to be more useful. Edit: A while later it occurred to me to check the object map, and it turns out there *is* a Sled just laying around Kara Kara Bazaar, probably to allow the player to carry the Orb to Gerudo Town. It's located around the coordinates (-3298, -2553)

Yay I'm glad you did this quest! It's such a good one, I loved doing it and loved the fact they added onto the Eighth Herorine lore. I'm pretty sure it IS supposed to be a version of Link they're talking about. Also fun fact, if you start looking for the slates while the Gerudo are still hiding out in the shelter you can uncover the one behind the rocks by talking to the woman with the canon. It surprises her and makes her accidentally fire at it haha.

I just wanna say I love what you've been doing for the thumbnails, especially lately - just. Immaculate vibes (also, that stare-down with Patricia had me DEAD) I thought at first the eigth heroine was Ganondorf, but nah - Link makes more sense, since he usually is the one actually getting the sages together/getting them to where they need to be to do their sage thing - and it does say "his people and the Gerudo", implying the hero was not Gerudo, so Ganondorf is out (and Ganon's the reason Link wasn't allowed into the city)

Lmaoooo, the freaking side eye from the Gerudo symbol at 2:44 had me in stitches. This was one of my fav side quests as well. Def one of the longer ones in the game, and such a cool piece of lore to uncover. Figuring out Patricia's coordinates really scratched that puzzle solving itch these games always give me, and I'm really glad I resisted using a guide bc it was super satisfying to just find everything the long way. That eighth heroine cave is so freaking cool (and a useful place to grab a scimitar & shield to make Urbosa's weapons with). The desert has the best caves in general I think. So many cool & spooky ones with so many lore implications.

I had assumed the eighth heroine was Rauru since most of the lore involves him helping ancient people, but now that you mention Link I think you are 100% right! The word "link" there is very intentional, and there's no mentions of a god, descending from the heavens or special powers like all of Rauru's lore. Just a brave fighter bringing people together. I also think it's a nod to Link passing as a girl in BOTW, where he's literally acting as an honorary heroine.

i LOVED this side quest!!!! since botw ive been dying to figure out who’s the eighth heroine and why is their statue not in gerudo desert along with the other seven. I was so happy the mystery was uncovered in totk!!! that fact that it was a voe all along was mind blowing for me because it just made sense why they kept his statue far away. the gerudo are so strict about their no voe rule that they even took it upon themselves to separate his statue. but what i loved the most about this side quest is how similar it is to the current events: the gerudo got help from a voe- again. and in this time it is link. however, the difference was that instead of applying the no voe rule to link, they appreciated and thanked him, even bowed to him for helping them and even made him an exception for entering gerudo, which is unheard of. learning about how the seven heroines felt bad to the eighth heroine is sad, they wanted to appreciate him in any way that they even made that secret room of all eight of them together. but now in the current time we can see how the gerudo have come a long way when it comes to treating the voes who aided them. how they’re treating link now is lovely and heartwarming! (oh and i also think the eighth heroine was a previous link! how i wish we know more of him)

*In today's episode of Tears of the Kingdom...* For the first time in the history of his channel, Quin scores a spouse. He now has an infinite supply of soup, as is the perk of marriage. This will sustain him well on his archeology missions. Unfortunately, in order to perform these archeology missions he has to be in the presence of a History Major who info-dumps way too much exposition on the ancient Gerudo and their mythos. We love a girlie working towards her PhD, but it'd be nice if she talked less often. All Quin's really getting out of it is that there's six or seven balls out there to collect, and if there's one thing he's good at, it's collecting balls. So he runs out into the middle of the desert and starts collecting balls. Putting the circle in the square hole and replaying Superliminal was way harder than this glorified fetch quest, but that's the beauty of academic research. It gets easier the less you understand what you're doing. So he starts talking to Patricia, the sand seal. She gives out coordinates. _This is getting out of hand…_ Quin learns one, uh, soul?… equals one melon. He is incentivized and finds everything he can instantly. He has revolutionized Gerudo history but that's not important. Fuckin' loves melons. *Thus concludes our (mis)adventures for today!*
