Goyo, Melusi and even Ela have basically better version of smokes ability because you don't plan to kill someone with smoke grenades. You either wanna waste their time or make em move. I believe smoke needs a ability buff in the future cuz he is not on par of the others.

Except smoke can be used on the fly and situation based, instead of having to preselect where they're placed in prep like Mel and Goyo. This also means they can't be countered, plus they can be used as counter utility for plants on top of that. He's simply superior to both of the operators (who are both strong) Ela on the other hand is pretty much only good for information so you've lost me with that one

@deezusnubes the good thing about smokes ability is that it doesn't have any counters, the bad thing which is a massive problem is that it's an active ability and you need to stay alive and not risk ur life unlike the other passive abilities of goyos and melusis gadgets that work even after death. Another way is to just waste the ability before full potential

It is actually understandable to see smoke so low on the win rate side. He is possibly the hardest operator to learn due to the fact that there is no set in stone strategy for his smoke grenades, you kind of just have to know when you need to use them and each time will be unique. You also have the SMG-11 and Mossberg which adds some complexity.

The ping they see is more like lion or jackal where it’s a periodic ping instead of live ping

Smoke shotgun kills are so satisfying. The dirt tunnel strat is nice. Need to be more liberal with using my smokes instead of dying with 2 in the pocket.

That's my problem too - I try to conserve Smoke's grenades and wind up dying or finishing the round with one or two unused. My thinking in this situation would be "There could be only 1-2 people pushing the tunnel, I should save at least one smoke grenade if I need to deny another entrance to the site."

@@AlfieArmanihis utility, ability, and his guns are all great things and even if you don’t have a lot of pings you still will know for certain where 1 person is at almost all times. With enough teamwork you can get everyone pinged and it’s almost impossible for the other team to do anything.

@@Braden-b9h if the site is right. You deimos someone in top floor consulate. What realistically will you do? Yes hes an intel op, thats his ability. Intel. However other ops do it better. Like zero, brava, or dokkabi... all of which have better guns. Zero has one of the strongesr ARs in the game and mp7. Brava has the para which is a very easy to use gun with moderate recoil and a shotgun secondary. Paired with the ability to hack gadgets and cams Dokkabi not only acts as a audio intel but a visual intel aswell. With easily way better guns like the bosg the smg12 and her DMR14 all stronger weapons compared to the AKM or his shotgun. However his shotgun is one of the best in the game. Smoke is a more verstile op on any site and for most sights deimos is not the best intel op to run. He can track 1 person a time. 3 times. Dokkabi can ping an entire team twice audiably and take over cameras. Which is way better than a singular ping. Lion can scan an entire team at once 3 times. Also forces any op besides vigil or in a mute jammer to be still unlike deimos. Lion also has the v308 which is a broken LMG with 0 recoil high damage and a medium ROF

@ damn ima just agree w/ you cause ain’t no way I’m finna read all that Nvm your saying Deimos is worse than brava, brave is 1000x more situation than Deimos in almost every way and the para is good but not nearly as good as the ak-74 and damos has the strongest attacking secondary and ofc I’m not going to play him below on a map with bulletproof floors that’s just dumb. On almost any site one site has a sold floor or ceiling so play around that by targeting the bandit banditing a walk in a soft floor. It’s common since. Smoke is top 5 defenders for anchor with one of the best shotguns and the smg-11 playing him correctly he might be top 3 anchors only below denier and maybe a bandit.
