DJ city is great. I honestly had most and although there are gems to find on any pool, I stick with DJ city. DJ city has came a long way. They now have extended the music backlog which is great. Pay every 6 months and save money too.

Exactly if I’m paying a premium I need and want everything at my finger tips with out that I feel limited and the thing is I’m willing to pay for it I’m not sure why they can’t give us a endless catalog of all the music we know and luv

I agree, but the record pools have partnership with certain Record labels, this is what decides what music is in their pool. Some of the music you want is promoted by a record label that the pool you are using might not collaborate with. Also, most often the the music in the record pool is decided by what music the record label currently promotes, this is why older tracks tend to be more difficult to find (because the record label doesn't promote them anymore).

After trying more than 8 dj pools dj city and bpm supreme are the Best , bpm S for throwback and new catálogue and city for new , and throwback remixes .

One size does not fit all when it comes to DJ record pools. DJ City is great for mainstream content. But if you're into electronic dance music such as progressive house and trance. Zip DJ or Beatport is definitely the way to go.

Really good video. Like the way you explained everything important in just a few minutes without wasting time. But I have a question that is maybe also very important for a lot of other new DJs. I saw a lot of “main stream” music you are able to download from DJCity in this video but is their also a selection for more “underground” music styles like techno or DnB? Mostly play those styles of music. But as I say, really nice video and explanation, thank you 🙏🏼 I will support you of course with my subscription 🎉

Thank you for watching! Majority of record pools focus on open format style music, giving a wider variety of DJs ability to use their site. They do have some really good stuff for techno or DnB but it's not going to be as good as some underground style sites. Hope this video helped!

I wish DJ Pools have more open format songs. All the DJ pools I have visited don't have a great supply of 90s/early 2000s R&B, nor does it have some of the latest Trap/Rap songs (young nudy, sexy red, glorilla, future, and lil baby) just to name a couple artist they don't have much selection for. I understand open format is not the most popular dJing, but sometimes streaming music doesn't always work at a gig.

They focus heavily on dub step and electronic remixes. There arent very many throwbacks, even their "wedding" section is electronic remixes that really isnt very modern. If youre doing midwestern weddings like myself its probably not going to work out

Hi I’m just starting off as a dj and I’m wondering if I have a big list ready of songs I want to use now and songs I might use in the future could I just pay for one month of a record pool to download all the songs at once and then don’t renew the subscription the next month? The downloads are saved to your computer, so you’ll have access to them. I don’t recommend trying to bulk download like that - but you have flexibility in your subscription

i don't think I've seen any dj pools offer lossless audio files, so it's not a distinctive factor when you compare dj pools. They all offer 320k MP3s.
