This video is so validating for me in that it shows that refreshing is SO MUCH easier with longer curly hair. Longer curly hair conceals the loss of root definition overnight. My shorter curly hair is just all root frizz when I wake up.

amigasyrizos I do the pineapple when I’m tired of my hair in my face but I just sleep with my hair on my satin pillow case . That’s what works the best for me and it makes my hair last for 7 days . The pineapple does stretch my curls to the point some parts become straight .

amigasyrizos idk if you use a hair tie when doing your pineapple but try not using one. I usually flip my hair upside down and just use a scarf to secure my hair into a pineapple (idk if that makes sense). I make a triangle shape with the scarf and tie my hair up

It stretches my curls too (not such a problem for me since my hair gets lots of fairy knots) I just refresh it with a water leave in kind of mist it and rearrange my hair and found that works

me too. pineapple only really works on short hair. a pineapple on me would be a pony tail since my hair is to my hips. I found trying it up in a scarf in the best method. curly.mama on instagram as a highlight on how she does it. since I've been doing it like that my curls last over a week

Tip: place the JBCO water in the Sally mister water bottle. That's what I did. Works perfectly for me.

Love the video ❤️. I remember when I had shorter hair similar to Lorianne’s length, pineapples were counterproductive. If you just put the scarf over your hair while it’s loose (no hair ties)... you’ll have less refreshing to do in the morning☺️. It’ll be just a matter of spritzing the spray and shaking out the curls!

I use the glow by daye bonnet to preserve my curls. It’s nice and big and I can normally shake it or pull it back into its shape and it’s fine. Shower loosen the curls too.

I bought this on a Sally's online sale. I tried it while watching this video. It has a mild but pleasant scent and my feels soft. My hair is 4B-4C and this will give me nice summer wash and goes. The spray bottle is the best, nice adjustable spray/stream nozzle. Will definitely reuse this bottle for my DIY ayurvedic hair teas and sprays.

I actually still prefer the Soultanicals Kink Drink because it is glycerin free. JBCO has glycerin so I get frizz. Thank you for sharing this!!

I love to refresh with my q-redew steamer. It loosens up my pineapple hair and moisturizes it without saturating it with liquid, which would cause frizz for my hair.

Loved the video 😍 What I normally do is take my hair out of my pineapple or buff. I mainly use a buff to keep hair contained at night. When I wake, I definitely let it settle a bit before and decide if I want to refresh some spots or not. Sometimes I really don't care about frizz lol. As long as its functional frizz for volume.

Thanks for this video. The JBCO water is magic in a bottle. It's too easy to keep spraying 😃. I have short 4a/4b hair. I sleep in mini pineapples or a lock sock with all of my hair going to the back. I spray lightly and arrange while my hair is still pliable. I don't have to refresh if I use UFD because my hair is so moisturized and pliable. I just shake it out and arrange. I'm lazy so I use UFD often😃.

I’ve been looking for more refresher sprays so this product I will try....Tay there was a moment in this video where you flipped your hair to the other side and the hair fell in your face a little...that was cute. You should try to wear your hair on the other side with a defined side part and edges.

I wish! If I use refresher sprays they have to be glycerin free, and I have to apply gel or mousse after. I'm naturally super high porosity, so I will be a ball of frizz if I wet refresh. Smh
