The Best Remnant 2 Build I've made yet (1k sub special)

It’s good to have you back! Can’t wait to try this build when I get home from work today. I have a similar build, the main difference is I use the sealed wax ring. The animation canceling paired with quick melee speed, makes for some amazing gameplay loops!

Holy fuck, Remnant 2 offers a variety amount of builds. I've been running full mod generation on from the ashes and remnant 2. Gotta start using meta loadouts for higher difficulty, I need to unlock difficulty gated weapons.

😂 I use the build on Adventure just to test it. Most builds are not for every boss but I had to move up to apocalypse because I couldn’t get in any practice. I was killing them with one swing.

Great build, been looking for a melee build with crystal staff. Enjoying the hell out of it. I changed the secondary weapon's mod and mutator to ring of spears and feedback, moved spellweaver to monolith. The spear mod procs with shielded strike so I have room for error if I miss the crystal staff charge activation and it also keeps the shield up when I want do some shooting on trash mobs. The mod has a weakness with flying mobs/bosses, but it works really well with everything else. Edited for clarity about flying enemies weakness.

Interesting that this mod you mentioned works with it 🙂 Sure that can help! Well I don't find it any weaker against flying enemys. Not at all. Even annihilation was easy.

@@SenorCerveza The build is fine with flying enemies, I was talking about the spear mod, it doesn't hit flying enemies reliably. The spear mod procs with shielded strike cause it is considered melee hits, at least for now 😁, it also stun locks enemies, even some bosses. Gonna be testing with knight guard mod also to see how that works if at all, it lasts less and hits much less often but might be better with flying enemies. Will edit this comment with results. Edit: Bummer the knight guard mod doesn't proc the shield.

I tried this build the only thing I'm missing is one ring and two traits. Granted I'm playing on veteran I just cleared a board with hardly using a gun. This is one nice build. Holy crap batman I really like this build. And I'm an average player

I would say this Build heals almost faster beside it not only gives you health but more important shield every hit. And the damage you do is insane 😂

@@SenorCerveza Have you tried it out? Specifically these two weapons with Shocker? The Ritualist’s triple hit is always proccing, it’s addictive. And, made even that much better with Amplitude, every touch in Spectral Blade’s aoe activates it (unlike Mirage, for example). It’s so strong, and so fast with this setup. At least try it out in the shooting range. Yes this is off-build, just throwing fun out there for those who maybe haven’t leaned into this yet. Anyway, thanks for the great content! (And while I’m rambling, the Stoneshaper’s Chisel is great on non-apocalypse difficulties). Have fun out there!

Indeed. I must’ve communicated poorly. It’s something separate from the actual build, yet made very strong by it. Something on the side for the fun of testing and mobbing. The interactions would find an actual home in a different but similar build. Anyway, I wasn’t suggesting augmenting this build, as obviously shielded/crystal are the whole crux of making it work. I’ve got to work on my communication skills, apparently. Anyway, maybe try out Shocker as I described. Might have some fun. Cheers.

The Cap is 85 for me, I don't think its possible to recreate your build 100% but it does look fun. Wouldn't bisect ring be better to use than burden of gambler since your burning stamina right?

The point here are the synergies this build uses. Shielded strike + DIfference Engine for example combined with an insane fast upcoming shield due to 62% melee attack speed while all the lifesteal almost instantly heals you 🙂

tested this against custodian eye and Sha hala. It's good fun and works really well. I did struggle here and there with stamina and mobility against those two specifically. will use this for a campaign now

So I noticed most of the build you get everything from yaesha with the dlc. Does that mean I have to play the dlc to get said items, or will they show up in yaesha even when not playing the dlc.

Ok i have a question. What about getting staggered? I don't see you using confidence booster and obviously you don't use steadfast mod.

Challenger skill reduces stagger. It can still happen bit barely. I don't like to use consumables much in my videos tbh.

Since this build does pure shock damage why not put on the ring that buffs all shock damage by 15% ?

Its not only shock damage 🙂 And there are a lot more to consider than raw damage.

That's not what berserk's crest does. It only reduces melee charge speed by 0.05s.

Yeah but that's what we want 🙂 The key is to have as fast as possible melee charge speed. But yea the maths in the vid are a bit misleading. Should have said "62% melee charge speed". It's still 52% for normal melee strikes.

@@AlexijSeptimus Double correction. The ingame description does indeed says "Melee speed" not "Melee charge speed". That changed the latest patch. That's why I also mention the ring got "buffed". I can't tell 100% if really does ingame what description says.
