As someone who is advanced in playing lead guitar but has mostly overlooked rhythm parts (focusing only on power chords), this tutorial is perfect for me. Thank you so much!

Yes !!! Excellent lesson for this over 40 year player that likes to think of himself (I'm talking about me) as intermediate because I know how to play many songs, but in the last year with having a lot of great songs available to learn on the internet and realizing my right hand wrist is not loose enough and hearing all that "up down, down up talk on tutorials "made me PARANOID, and more stiff. This just might help set me free ! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!! 😊

This is brilliant. Most of my life I have been missing the strings altogether because of my 3D techniques.

This is a great video and the only thing I disagree with him on is the 80s stuff people still want to hear what they don't want to hear is guitar solos the last 8 hours. But I think to sum up this great lesson and you need to get with a band of course but the key is just adding to the overall band sound I try to blend that's all I try to do

It’s a shame that the 80’s are not still around because the songs were better and the guitarist and musicians were way way better and it seems like after grunge everything went downhill.

Disagree about the 80s comment good lesson otherwise. Vintage wave is so back it has been for some years now.

I teach this everyday, its called counting rhythms…this is nothing new and has been around for forever….The metal scene i play on is full of shredders, so this guy must be playing in adult contemporary bands
