I'm in Ohio and "RM tractor" is not a term we use. I believe you said the "R" is for Ready. What is the "M" for? Is this simply a boom mower tractor? If so, I have never seen one with the rear guard.

Maybe rural municipality? (Seems logical due to the safety thing on the back)

Hey Matt! It stands for Rural Municipality just like what dcal702 said. A Rural Municipality is essentially a district that is not necessarily urban. It would be like a county if you are from the United States. So this tractor spends its life mainly mowing ditches and is owned by a specific RM (or county). I hope that helps!!

@@FullLineAustin Thank you for the reply. It is weird I could not find the answer in my internet searching. The closest I go was "rear-mounted." RM seems to be a standard code for rear-mounted boom mower styles.
