Trust me, tvs ALLWAYS means there's a tornado on the ground. Tornadoes are often practically invisible, and even if the funnel hasn't reached the ground yet, the winds can. I know this because I've been playing this for like a year now, and I've been right under a funnel right when the tvs appeared multiple times, and every single time the winds sudenly jumped to 65 mph, the minimum winds of an EF0. There's a chance they changed it in the 1.20 update because a tvs doesnt allways mean a tornado irl, but as far as i know, it does in this game. The windfield also won't register on the map if the tvs appears while the funnel is still in the air, but when theres a tvs, the winds are alrady on the ground. Also while it is usually darker in a tornado, it can also be pretty bright sometimes and look very close to how it loks in the game (besides the solid funnel which they probably cant fix because of how much lag it would cause). You can see for yourself by watching one of reed timmers most recent and best intercepts of all time where its full of just white walls of rain and flying branches.

I have over 250 hours on it and is top 50 players so trust me I know, just bc of there is windspeeds on the ground the tornado is not down unless there is a dust cloud

@VandersJr The game won't always register it as a tornado, but by definition, it is still a tornado. Also, how did you come to that conclusion?

@VandersJr "A violently rotating column of air touching the ground, usually attached to the base of a thunderstorm." That is the definition of a tornado according to the national weather service. Those 65 mph winds might not have been visible, but they were most definitely a violently rotating column of air, and they were most definitely touching the ground.
