The game and the timeloop story is great, the characters are super unique and i just love the dnd vibes the campaign gives me. Mortis does have the vibe of a DM that has meticulously planned his campaign. Sometimes player characters would ask important lore questions and he'd just go "I don't wanna spoil it for you, it will make sense when you get to the good part".

Bro almost every time you played the instinctive card there was an option that gave a card and raised your max HP by 20 until the end of the battle and you passed it every time. Picking that option during the final fight would have helped a lot lol. Just thought I’d throw that out there if you decided to run it back

This is one of the best deckbuilding roguelikes I've come across in a few years. Its right up there with Tainted Grail although the style is a bit different. The presentation for this game is excellent, beautiful story book like graphics and story segments. I really love the art style here. The animations as well are pretty decent with some pleasant music. The voice overs are a bonus and the actual cards are well done and look good. Playing the game is smooth and fast during battles although they could have improved the battle sounds a bit i think. But overall, I'm so impressed with this title, everything looks great and there's a fair amount of story as well with pretty good writing. Definitely give this game a try if you enjoy card battlers.

if you like this game there is a game then there is one i played its free but has paid DLC called "Night of the full moon" the game looks kinda like it but more advance, I think its fun and each run you need to choose options to increase bravery or reputation to fight diffrent end bosses, and its personally one of my favorite games

Almost immediately after watching Toonz play this, I bought the game xD I love games like this - Darkest Dungeon was my fav. I'm not very good at this game though. The final boss lady is wayyy too OP. She just doesn't take HP damage and insta kills. I'm figuring it out though. Point is, this game is a ton of fun - watching or playing! :) Thanks for introducing me to it, Toonz

1:06:40 bruh... the double scarring would of been so good for the deck. upgraded it loses the burn and in a deck where you wanna nuke the field then heal up fast to do it again... it was perfect

Beat the game with Persival /Gold Digger class.... The Amount of Armor Obtainable/ Damage can Be Stacked Infinitely with the right gear set up. Was able to reach armor into 1000's and highest damage over 600 ... very broken but very fun .

Toonz would LOVE this game. The mechanics, atmosphere and theme are so cool. And there's 9 unique characters! Also the fan-made Wolverine short film Logan the Wolf used the music from this game. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that likes deck builders.
