Been using this play since launch. It has been money with Kyle Pitts. What I like to do is smart route the out with the TE to the sticks. It works best when it's 8 yards to go or fewer. Another good stratagy has been moving the hitch WR across the formation to the TE side. It will shift the CB out with him and give you some space to hit the TE quickly

i can't tell you how many massive TDs i got with Taysom Hill on this play against man as well as that hitch route in the RedZone. won a league game with it a few days ago with 6 seconds left in fact.

Not at all. Manning up doesn’t always work against rpos. Split offset with the peek zone bubble will still do damage. Pistol open flex will beat you for a 1 play TD if you try to man up. Stopping rpos is more so about defensive alignment.
