The front row forwards (the thick boys) don't get the respect they deserve, but they don't have fancy highlight reels like the backs, locks and backrow players have. I still cannot believe he wasn't nominated for international player of the year (which he should've won if he was nominated).

As a tight head prop myself, I got soo hyped when he ran on against France for before a scrum. I felt sorry for the other guy. 😮 He’s the Most complete prop. He’s smart during play with and without the ball. He is Strong and probably the best prop in the world right now.

Ox is 2.0 of Tendai Mtawarira, Smaller but potent. The coach, Dr Rassie Erasmus explained it perfectly in the series Chasing the sun...he is built like a bar fridge, short. But the impact he have on the scrums is undeniable. Ox should have won player of the year
