I regret not looking closer at this car the times I’ve been around it, holy moly.

Lots of interesting tid bits in this. For the car nerds like myself, the details are wild. Wastegate position!? And crankcase pressure. so rad. What backpressure sensor did you use? I want to run one in my new build as well. I love my chill out setup too. So much better than dealing with ice water.
@MAMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
Its an AEM sensor but I don't recall the pressure. 5 bar I think. Thanks for watching!

@@MAMotorsports I see, so you don't read vacuum just positive pressure? Do you have both valve covers blocked off and rely on vacuum from the dry sump? I just ask because I have a pretty simple 3-stage on my LS Miata, but the new car has a Daileys 6 stage high vacuum setup. Was going to run a vacuum regulator to prevent making too much vacuum and cap the other cover, but wasn't sure if that would be enough in a turbo application.

@@Taylordrifts It is a 5 bar MAP sensor (to clarify) so it reads both positive and negative pressures.

@@MAMotorsports Oh duh. lol In my head it was only positive pressure. Okay cool that makes things easyf or me then. Thank you! Just need to find a 12orb to 1/8npt fitting. lol

Such a well thought out build. I’ve heard dry sumps run the powersteering at half speed from gearing? Titanium exhaust looks cool

didn’t talk about the bodywork enough, is it just off the shelf origin labo’s?, or is it some other brand product with different materials

What are the changes needed to go from pro 2 to pro? Weight? Power? Tire size?
@MAMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
We may be OK with weight depending on which tire he ends up going with. A turbo upgrade to increase power is on the list.

What is done with the bracing that comes down from the c-pillar into the rear wheel well? It’s like a square that the wheel well is attached too
@MAMotorsports7 ай бұрын
I’m not sure what bracing you are referring to exactly.
