Great review. Not in the market for a new backpack this season, but looks like an excellent and well thought out design. I need to figure out a better way to organize my platform and sticks for late season so I have room in my pack for a heavy jacket.

@MikeJones-vb1me, you can load the meat in the main compartment, but I personally don't. If I'm going back far enough where I think I'll have to pack something, I will bring a frame back.

@MikeJones-vb1me the shape charge has more cubic in of storage and better organization compartments but they are pretty close in size. You could also add the shape charge to a frame if you like that bag better.

Thank you! I appreciate that. I put my camera arm and camera when I carry it in the main pocket. If I run out of room (which is rare) in the last season, I will put my camera arm in the Sherman Pocket. As for my saddle, I wear it in.

They are expensive. If you join the Kifaru FB page, you can score some used ones for a lower price, but you have to jump on them fast because they go quickly.
