Yes, sure. First, read scrum guide 3-5 times. Then start preparing for PSM. However, only having certification might not make you land in Scrum master role. You will have to look out for such opportunities for yourself in your current organization. Its generally not possible to switch as Scrum master without any prior work experience.

hi , thanks for reaching out. Yes, doing the certification would certainly help you in validating your knowledge. After that, try to start practice scrum in your current job area. You can still practice scrum without officially being on a scrum master job role. Scrum is for everyone :) . To get the job as scrum master, you will definitely need to build up some expertise and thorough knowledge on this because its challenging to get a job without experience. Try to connect scrum with your existing job role and responsibilities. Congrats. Try applying scrum in practical situations. And if you want to learn more then you can aim for next levels of mastery..psm ii or you can even aim for learning other agile practices like kanban, safe, etc

There are no prerequisites for PSPO level 1. Cost of exam is $200 USD. This does not include cost of training. It is your choice you want to take training and then go for exam, or you want to directly go for exam.

hi, certification is there to validate your knowledge. It will certainly help you in the role of scrum master but getting a job depends upon lot of things - your overall experience, your relevant experience as a SM, requirements of job profile, and many others. Just like any other field , in agile also certifications do only help in giving strength to our profile, but getting a job depends on lot of factors

The cost varies per region. In India , it will cost you INR 24000. If training partner offers some discount then you may get in nearby INR 21000 . In US , it will cost you USD 1295. If training partner offers discount then you may get it in nearby USD 1000.

Yes, CSM is an open book exam. There are total 50 questions. You have to get 37 correct to pass the exam.

This is not INR to USD direct conversion, as I have mentioned that the cost varies country wise. For PSM, Training cost: INR 25999 in India, USD 1299 in US and CAD 1899 in Canada, including examination fee . This may not be exact, can vary a bit from time to time. For CSM, certification costs and training range from $500 to $2,000, including the CSM exam fee
