While the B9s and FAMAS are good to have, this new shotgun is THE BEST weapon in The Finals Season 2, in my opinion, because it adds a totally new gameplay style for the Heavy class.

Doing that does require a fair level of skill, but yeah - sadly you can't have fun with diverse weapons and escape being hunted by the meta.

@PewPewSkeelz I honestly think The Finals is the most balanced shooter that there is rn, the interactions between the items makes them gimmicky, not underpowered... I would have complained about the "shield/asp turret" meta being broken, until re-learning the game -MINES, medium archetype has access to explosive and glitch mines, that bypass rpg/grenade restrictions, the lateral has the advantage of disabling turrets, healing-beams, invisibility, and aps turrets, AND disabling shields ON IMPACT -Light has access to glitch grenade, same effect as the mine, expect the grenade part -Melee weapons bypass shields -Goo grenade is more versatile than the barricade or shield, the ability to block off doors, shooting angles, entrances, creating scaffolding for new ones. it's vulnerable to fire, but unless you are spamming it too close to yourself, it only alerts you of enemy positions. All classes have access to it as a defensive tool, hence why the characters have a archetype, not a class type. -You already covered the ks shotgun, so good job on that. The ability to create new holes from the slug damage, gives heavy a free slot for additional tools. So now to the dagger: -The backstab hit box is "generous"? You hit them on the back of the head, their back, or them heels, that's a crit damage. -High risk, high reward, you are a hit n' run archetype, you don't need to hide constantly, but similarly to Mirror's Edge stay on the run, because using m1 or m2 slows you down. -Cloak is a test of patience and positioning, you don't have the tools to close the gap, the gap shortens with enemy coming to you. -Dash is a test of dexterity, all the tools to in and out of combat, heck, run circles if you need to. But if your teammates are being shot at, ALWAYS stand nearby your team as they will draw attention from your enemy, easier to kill this way, a support for your team. -Grappling hook is movement/ambush a lá Assasin's Creed, dropping on the enemy from highground and unexpected swings. -You mostly don't use backstab on light archetypes, unless you are not confident about your imminent demise, 3-4 quick stabs will kill em. -Medium can easily kill you, catching them off guard with a backstab will instantly kill them too, all it takes is one Stab. -Heavy has the slowest movement speed, you can instantly break the war of shield attrition, by backstabbing them and giving them a ****** slap to the face. -The priority is survival of the team, you are useless while dead so just stay alive and NEVER let the team get wiped, not just you, but the cash is wasted while so. @@Ratscallion_exe I love this comment :D Pinned your original one, for people to reach this info. You are mostly right, except it is what you see from mainly your perspective. Many people, me somewhat included, would see the dagger as a waste of clicking the 'play' button (although I did come out on top of kills in some games with it, but I wouldn't count it as success since i struggled in other areas, like objective support). Other people wanna avoid the fast movement playstyle, as it requires greater skill, and as you said - is a test of skill indeed. My job as a KZbinr is to kinda find middle ground for everyone - and while on a competitive level the game might be balanced, there certainly are weapons who don't make any difference. See the thing is, people use the same 2-3 weapons of a class, and never even touch the others. Example: The flamethrower meta that emerged in Power Shift does in fact breathe some new life in this otherwise forsaken gun, but is still really easy to play around and ultimately make it hurtful to the team most of the time, whereas that wouldn't be the case if the Heavy was using say a Lewis gun, and headshot your pumpkin from the distance you were so confident in when fighting the flamethrower. I also think adding 2 burst weapons out of the total 3 new weapons in Season 2 was a really dumb idea... At this point even a Crossbow is better. And yeah, the game is extra spicy when it comes to outsmarting people, which is what I love about it! The glitch trap trick you mentioned is surely a good example of that. I'm honestly excited on what comes next :)

i wanna add a note to the gun its also really good at destroying suspended platforms and crains due to having unusualy high structure damage totally wanna master this weapon!

It does! And despite its dmg vs players getting nerfed recently, the dmg to structures was buffed, so you can reliably use it to destroy stuff, enabling sneaky cashout steals as well :)

Well, I talk about it in my latest video actually, you can check it out in my profile. In general - it was nerfed to become mediocre. It was "balanced" to serve worse players, and make it more like the medium shotgun, it lost its power to deal high, instant damage, and enable 1-2 shots of light/medium + melee. It rewards the mediocre player more now, whereas it used to reward more skilled players...
