There’s a real historical Alexey Kuropatkin who was Russian Imperial War Minister during the late years of the Empire. He died in 1925, and was born and died in Pskov area. He seems to have no connection to Sevastopol or the Crimea. Obviously the right choice for his ghost to lead it.

Paradox, until the experimental version of July 2023, had a formula for how much armor a support company had. For example, if you had a light tank recon support company using a tank design with 20 Armor, the recon company had 0.4 times the tanks as a light tank battalion, so it was kind of like a miniature tank battalion with 20 * 0.4 = 8 Armor, but now with the experimental version, the light tank support battalion might be like a full 20 Armor tank battalion when computing division Armor. There is in the experimental version of HOI4 too much Armor credit gained from what in a way is an under-equipped battalion that has only 40% of its tanks. A compromise situation for a 0.4 tank equipment fraction would be to take the third root of 0.4, resulting in a 0.7368 multiplier against the designed Armor number of 20, resulting in a compromise light tank armor rating of about 14.7, in comparison to 8 which is too low, and 20 which is too high. Short version: Mathematically, Paradox could try out compromise nerfs of super-heavy support divsions, as well as under-equipped tank battalions, by applying the arithmetic of exponents to some sort of fill fraction. An exponent of 1/3 applied to a fill fraction of 0.4 might not quite be enough of a nerf. If needed, an exponent of 2/5 would provide slightly more of a nerf. Raising 0.4 to the 2/5 power would result in the tank design Armor rating being multiplied by 0.693, while a potentially too large 0.736 multiplier would be the result of a 1/3 exponent, which is the cube root exponent.

My first ever playthrough of Italy after they were reworked I tried to go monarchist and form Rome, but accidentally ended up turning myself around and getting the Pope path, I was so pissed off, but at the same time pretty funny that I found a hidden path without even trying to on first try. xd

So what I did for my Italy playthrough was stay fascist with the musso man, capped Ethiopia by mid-March, grabbed France, Britain then the USA for the Pizza Time achievement. Also made sure to get my railroads capped in core territory while holding Austria from the Germans until 1945. After 1945 I immediately started grinding all the focuses needed to get the pope in power and swapped when I could. Essentially the only territory I needed at this point was Turkey, but they were guaranteed by the Axis so I had to join them and then declare war. Then I took all of Turkey and formed Rome after I had already taken the entire USSR and that was it. Every achievement except for the Gramsci achievement and the "Pope caps Rome" was accomplished in a single game thanks to France and Britain Paradrop cheese, and invading the Americans from my lovely Canadian homeland in like 1937 lol As far as the nuke, I simply declared war on Mexico, let them run into LA and nuked their asses into oblivion and then took their whole country. It was a fun game, but waiting to complete the year long decisions sucked at the end obviously. I had formed Rome and just needed to wait for the Pope to come into play. Now, I did already get the "Pope caps USSR" achievement right when BBA released, so I guess that's the achievement you wouldn't get here unless you somehow keep the USSR from capping until you've swapped over, but I was slow and took until 1951 to finally get Papa Pio. To be fair, I was also afk just waiting for time to flow, so I definitely could've done it quicker if I was paying attention.
