I play XL and session on console, but only play XL when there's an update.. which is like once every seven months. While XL has superior transition mechanics, it also has that thing where your skater wildly stumbles whenever they go down a slight change in elevation

You could have the same fun on xl if you play it more often and you will finally understand the control function on tricks/ snail flip tricks / delay turns to make tricks steezy/ Lock in on grinds correctly etc. And u should talk to more modders in the community to have the best clothing / even a face scan in the game.

Theres even ways to flip your tricks the opposite direction to make them even look better. Example the hardflip’s they look better with the kickflip animation and bone your foot to the side for a side ways catch. Its hard to explain but easier to learn visually

And for some spots its better to skate with the autobank lean OFF to avoid that annoying dipping into and obstacle

i could be wrong but it looks like hes on the version of xl that doesnt have the complete mod list. But i agree auto bank lean off is the way to go most of the time 👌

Also serious question, hadnt played xl yet, had played a demo of session, bought xl used for 5 bucks, on console, is this all there is, theres no actual game here, dont get me wrong i love skating around in xl, but session seems a lil more thought-out and put together, but their animations looked ok, but i like how i can manually tweak everything in xl, or like how if you know how to play the game fully, your real life actual style can come through in xl my question is, two of them really, is this all the game has (is like a trick list as its game) and how close to la is dtla in xl

Yea Session works out of the box, Skater XL is some assembly required for a more shallow gameplay experience. I haven't touched XL since I picked up Session.

10 seconds in and this man is milking horses 💀 This isn't the first time i've seen a Session map ported/remade for SkaterXL, but it is certainly far less common than getting SkaterXL maps ported to Session. Super cool this got made, but i super hope this is legally distinct enough that Crea-Ture won't/can't take it down
