I feel like there's more reason for your alt look to snap back slower, than there is to have it instant. I've played with both and for some reason, I'm sharper with the default setting.

Yeah i see your point, i think it is just personal preference, i like it as its instant as im only looking for people when im using the alt key not when its snapping back. So once i let go of alt i want to be facing forwards as fast as possible just incase someone shoots me when im holding the alt key etc.

hey man, very informative and helpful vid! but I have a question. what setting affect skin quality? I've played around and maxed all settings and the skin quality is still poor compared to ones I see in videos.

Hey, i just did a bit of research everyone suggests that the first settings 'graphics quality' is the setting that affects skins as the setting adjusts the entirety of the game. I am not sure why that is that yours looks poor compared to other, but remember some people can further alter the game when recording. For example i record using OBS and record the game with higher color saturation using OBS settings to make my game play look better for the viewer than how it normally looks. I hope this helps 😄

Can be a lot of variables like if you are running the game in 1440p etc i would try the medium rust settings that i have mentioned.

Im not too sure how that is possible, maybe you have accidentally clicked the wrong settings, just try reverting all the settings you have changed back to default or what you originally had. I hope this helps, take care

@@bokchoyTV I may have spoke too soon. I am now sitting at a constant 90 with the only thing different I notice is that bodes don’t shrink much they go from large to gone when jackhammering lol

@@rickjames3562 Lol ahaha, yeah Rust can be like that just remember, every server affects ur FPS differently same as what is in-game for example where u build, what monument ur next too, if there is any big bases in your vicinity, how many trees are cut down. There are so many variables that all affect ur FPS this video should defiantly increase ur FPS not do the opposite, see how you go playing over the next week or so take care!!!

Open up rust, than click f1 to open up console, than type (copy and past) bind f2 "consoletoggle;combatlog" and hit enter, the combat log should now be binded to the f2 key, i hope this helps

So I had the option of borderless window and after I changed all my setting it disappeared is there a way can change it back. Know wen I click on my 2 monitor the game minimizes and I can’t see my cross air X nether 9:42

Maybe just try go into your windows display settings and select one screen than just open rust like normal and change it back to your preferred windows 'borderless setting'. After, switch back to having 2 screen in your windows settings. Yeah it will do that if you have it selected as full screen when you click on second screen it will minimise the game or put it in the 'background' thats just how it is as the game is selected as 'full screen'. tf u think that turning off discord game overlay do something to your perfomance. Just put streched res and Potato settings with max draw distance and thats gonna be max fps u can make on your pc. 90% of your video shit that doesnt do anything I have 10k hrs at this game and i know how this works. I mean if u have mid pc and u play on shit high settings its normal that ur fps around 60 Also this tutorial useless if u have 60hz screen. And yeah in rust theres have good commands that can really help with perfomance but in your vid theres nothing special and helpful. ALSO changing something in Nvidia control panel can give u maximum 2-3 fps which is useless. Ur pc better know what settings he need to great work

Wrong having a frame rate higher than your monitors refresh rate will ensure you get the newest information that your gpu is rendering@@1v8lover

@@1v8lover I think your being a little critical and exaggerate what you are trying to say, however i do agree with u that if u have a 60hz screen the tutorial may be useless depending on the specs of ur PC and discord overlay not doing much, yeah they are good points to make. But seriously if you honestly think 90% of this video is shit and useless that is very delusional and close minded, each thing mentioned in the FPS part of the video will add maybe 2-3 fps but it all adds up and it will help with your overall fps which is what this video is trying to achieve. I have tried and tested all these settings many times with different PC specs over the years and have helped my mates too with there pc and it has all helped in terms of FPS, and works. Further, remember as mentioned at the start of the video i said "Now keep in mind guys that these are my settings of what I find best and there are also many other ones as well", all the best mate!
