100% agree that Embiid needs to take a step back on offense and lock-in on defense & rebounding. I don't think he's gonna average 15 rebounds if he averages 27 points though... I think 13 rebounds like in 2018-19 would be great & I'd be happy with at least 12.5 rpg. I really want to see him get back to being a DPOY candidate & make 1st team all-defense!

People definitely overrate that team. I never liked the fit. The team was awkward and clunky.

@mychaljames8025 I think it was a fine fit since Tobias was actually attempting a bunch of 3s at that point, but he stopped after he shot 1-13 from 3 or something like that in one of the Raptors games. It’s the fact that when Embiid sat, our backup bigs were completely horrible which is why I really had hoped the Sixers made a push for Nerlens Noel… apparently we did, but Rich Paul never told Nerlens that the Sixers were interested in him

@@mychaljames8025 if Ben was able to lock into off-ball dunker spot role in the half court offense and run fast breaks off the rebound we would have been fine. Brett Brown and the Sixers front office coddled Ben which is why Jimmy left

Still not better than the team that had Jimmy Butler. I still hate everyone involved for ruining Ben Simmons and running Jimmy out of town because of his “attitude”. Embiid loved them both that year and they were without a doubt one lucky bounce from winning a chip. PG is getting older and unless he can give solid numbers then I see making it out of the first round before Boston puts them over their knee per usual.

Current team is better overall. That team w/ Jimmy had NO BENCH & NO TRAINING CAMP. A championship team needs 8 solid players minimum w/ solid guys who can step in up through player 10 depending on the matchup. Maxey - Simmons Martin - Reddick George - Butler Oubre - Harris 24 Embiid - 19 Embiid Lowry - McConnell Gordon - Korkmaz / J Simmons Council - Ennis Yabusele - Scott / Bolden Drummond - Boban / Monroe So much better roster construction with the current team & Tobias is in Detroit.
