Thayers alcohol free witch hazel toner with rose essences is what I use and it has done wonders for my Lupus problem prone skin!! Redness, texture, breakouts, dryness you name it!! I also use Genifique!! I love that stuff!!

The Neutrogena hydro boost range is SO good, I was surprised it wasn't mentioned. I have dry skin, I own the Olay whip and Neutrogena gel cream. I prefer Neutrogena and it is half the price literally. I can't believe the Olay whip is $50.. It's a nice moisturiser but woah.

Perfect timing for this video as I have been thinking about trying some new skincare products. It can be difficult for oily skin gals! I cannot stand products that leave a film or are sticky. I'll definitely check out some of your recommendations. I have been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel for moisturizer for at least a couple of years. If you live in a dry climate watch out for products with Hyaluronic acid it binds moisture to your skin if moisture is present in the air, if not enough moisture is present in the air it pulls moisture from the skin back out into the air essentially working the opposite. I live in Alberta Canada as a medical esthetician and I ask my clients to watch out especially in the winter for products containing HA. Hope this helps Some common moisturizer containing HA are Neutrogena Hydro boost (and that line of skin care in its entirety ) Olay whipped moisturizer The ordinary serums and moisturizer it’s a common ingredient

I TOTALLY agree with what u say about toners. I’ve tried so many that either make it feel dry or moisturized it but it feels sticky! I found one on Amazon that is AMAZING and moisturizes my skin (I have dry skin and after using that toner I could not even use moisturizer and still feel okay! It’s crazy!)

Clinique has a new clear gel moisturiser and it is amazing. No fragrance or nasties and absorbs very quickly into my skin. You can also customise your moisturiser with any additional product to assist with any skin issues you may have such as uneven skin tone, or sensitive skin. You should try CereVe Daily Lotion. It's fragrance free, lightweight & fast absorbing yet still is very moisturizing and has ceremides and hyaluronic acid. Even though I have a many-step skin care routine this is my go to lotion since you can use it for your whole body. I worked in dermatology for 10+ years and all 11 of the doctors/NP's/PA's recommended this. I love it!

I love the Ole Henriksen eye cream! I know you were trying out the Clinique ID with the oil control & the texture serum. Would you also recommend that one or did it not stand up under makeup well? I do love the Clinique Moisture Surge 72 Hr one. I tried the Olay Whips Luminous w/ SPF and it doesn't work the best under makeup- maybe bc of the SPF?? I haven't tried the Fresh Rose toner yet, but I have recently been using the Ole Henriksen Blanace Force Oil Control Toner and I have been loving it. It contains no alcohol so it won't try you out and doesn't leave any residue. There is a slight smell of botanicals/herbs, but it goes away very quickly.

Such a fantastic idea for a video, and super helpful. I’ve been using Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre which seems to wear beautifully under makeup. Like you mentioned, it’s so important to let it fully absorb before going in with your makeup.
