In my opinion, the car sounds in GT7 are really nice, sounding very close their real life counterparts, but the main thing they lack is aggression. Sometimes it doesn't really sound like you're pushing the car that hard, hopefully something they change in GT8.

Lexus lfa and Lamborghini murcielago lp640 is proably the two most accurate sounding cars in gt7, But many of them is very good

Agree. The LFA, Murcialago sounds great, Carrera GT too. The Zonda R is underwhelming, that car SCREAMS IRL.

@@Tranceport913 yes the zonda r could need some work, it has improved a little but still not accurate to reallife, same with ferrari fxxk, but pretty much every other v12 sounds great

The c6 on racing or sport muffler and c7 are 2 of the best sounding cars in the game I feel especially since no other game can get the LS sound right. Also the e92 m3 sounds very good and nova on sport muffler

I'm not sure why the chase cam lacks the sound and reverb that blends the sound into the environment like the way it does during replay. I think that's one of the thing that they already have which needs to be added to the chase cam in a lower amount to blend the car into different environments while driving

i don’t know if people ever noticed this but in GTS, the sound for ground view was not the same as the sound in the interior of the car. it was different; it was the premium car sound that was featured on the demo. some of the ground view sounds were much better than the interior and one prime example is the Porsche 911 Group 3. sure they improved it in GT7 because it’s the main sound for both, but that’s just laziness imo and i was intrigued to see how much they’ve improved but instead they copied and pasted the same sound bite on a different view and it’s never happened in any of the previous GTs

@@GoatedAtNFS the sound is very different if you use chase cam or cockpit view, many of the base sounds is the same as gt sport, but in some aspects better, and when you upgrade the cars that sound can change even futher.

The red Mazda RX7 sounded nice with that exhaust pop/burble. But I think LFA, Carrera GT, & Murcialago sounds very good. Aston Martin Gr.4 sounds good too. I don't know about the Demon Challenger, that doesn't sound near as raw/throaty/loud as real life, sounds more synthesized. And the Mustang GT350R sounds really good IRL with the flat plane crank V8, unique, high revving, throaty with nice exhaust pops. On here again sounds too tamed and digital like the Demon. I can agree about the gt350, but demon actully sounds incrediable in gt7 better than it does in forza, while the v8 could be more aggressive, the sipercharger whine is insane, overall gt7 have the best demon sound.

Because it's not as simple as tossing in a sound file. You need to know how the audio engine can use the sound and try to properly synthesize the audio. On top of that, the bitrate and sample rate of audio files could also be a big issue too. Forza Franchise has that issue too. The Huracan with the stock exhaust and the FXX-K Evo sound pretty good, but then you got other cars that sound like trash like the Pagani Cinque. Horizon has the same issue. The Aston Marin Valkyrie sounds exceptional as well, but then you got 4 cylinders which sound like a mosquito...which they could in some situations.

Well, let's be realistic. The transmission sound is similar in most cars. The sound of tires is not the best. Some cars sound very bad, like the Supra and the R34. Very bad. And to be honest with you, 80% of car sounds are weird. They're not realistic. Sometimes it's bad. When you put a racing exhaust, car sounds become like the sounds of cheap car games. It's not the best game like sounds.

Not always, it really depends on the car because both have their good and bad, they are quite even when you campare all of the cars in both games, horizon is in general better with american cars, not with Dodge demon through but in general, gt7 is in general better with japanese cars, European cars is quite even some better in horizon 5 and some better in gt7, but their is no winner between the two, Gt has caught up to forza massivly campared to what it use to be, Fm 23 is worse than both, As car models quality goes gt7 is in a different league, horizon 5 has the best car list between all 3, but can lack the quality on some car models, I still rather take higher quality models overall. Gt7 and fh5 are both great racing games and are both best in their catogory. Fm 23 however is so bad in camparsion to both.
