Unfortunately, almost all these dresses come straight from China and Chinese companies. In fact, maybe most things on Amazon come DIRECTLY from Chinese companies (not even American companies/"made in China" - literally 100% Chinese companies). I personally don't trust anything from a Chinese company. Their business practices are usually terrible (very low wages for employees etc), their quality control is bad and their materials can have heavy metals and other toxic things. 😓 Even though it can be more expensive to buy clothing from American companies, it is worth it. The main reason they are more expensive is because they typically have much better business practices and quality control etc.
