I’m sure you’ll make friends just make sure you have a red light and ask photographers if you can move through a shot first. You’ll get instant respect and make friends. We just wrapped up a travel series where we camped all around spots on the west coast living out of our RTT and Joshua tree was a stop again.

​@@DesertSoul5000was so nice before it became a national park though. I've spent a week to 10 days at a time on several occasions where we were the only people in the entire camp ground. Was like $2 for the car to get in and could stay for weeks if you wanted.
