Taking my exam in 4 weeks. I’m super comfortable with the majority of the configurations. Just need to brush up on some of the knowledge. Pretty confident I’ll be ready on test day.

Good luck! Being confident will do you well.

CCNA covers a lot of topics and some you need to know how to configure them as well. How do you prepare to remember most if not all of these topics for exam day?
@Jamesytech229 ай бұрын
Honestly, practice practice practice. There are a lot of things that I can almost guarantee you’ll run into. Like a lot of tests, you can’t know everything. Some things you’ll 100% see is, ip routing tables, subnetting questions, STP, config troubleshooting questions, source mac/ip destination mac/ip, SSH, explaining the OSI/TCPIP model, knowing packets vs frames vs segments, vs bits, IPV6, and as far as configs you can’t really fully know what you’ll get but I would keep these in mind. Ip routing/OSPF, port security, SSH, configuring IP addresses, Vlan access and trunk ports, DHCP, ACLs, and NAT. Other than that unless I missed any big ones, those are what you should know. There was a topic in my lab question that I didn’t know how to configure yet I still passed.

james im gonig all in into this industry . any tips for the less stressfull job i can get with my ccna and ccnp ??? thank you (is not that im lazy is that i have a condition that does not allow me to be underpreasure.) I live in florida and would love that the option of jobs can be remote.
@Jamesytech229 ай бұрын
Well to be honest, if you’re new to the industry, you’re likely not going to land a remote job right off the bat. In-person experience is very valuable. NOC jobs aren’t really that stressful but to be honest, the IT field is generally relatively stressful.

You’ll do fine. Panicking will do you more harm than good. Calm down, gain some confidence in yourself and you’ll automatically do better. Before I test, I always get myself pumped and take breathers. You got this!!

How to study for CCNA: Take 3 years of classes. Yeah buddy
@Jamesytech222 ай бұрын
That was how I studied for it. That's not what this video is. I was telling my story and giving more methods of studying for the CCNA. Most people can study for 3-6 months and do fine on the test.
