The biggest negative factor for me is that the 3008 does not have the adaptive cruise control feature. If you look at the black rectangular plastic at the bottom of the front bumper which is meant for the radar sensor, the Malaysian Peugeot 3008 has a plastic cover which is "kosong" inside. As for the car servicing, I once opted to drive 150 km away to service my car at a Peugeot service center rather than to let the 2 Peugeot service centers near my place service my car. Hopefully Bermaz can improve the service quality. Also, in the last 10 years, I need to change the power windows 4 times, each time costing RM 1,700. My 13 year-old Corolla Altis never once gave a problem with the power windows. I do appreciate the frank review of the car by Mr Low.

I keep my 308THP until now. Already 11 years. No issue of power window, not even 1 time.

What's wrong with the service centers near ur house? Do tell.
Peugeot's 5-year free service is what attracts me the most coz you don't have to worry about regular servicing costs while you're busy paying off your 5-year car loan. I was considering the Tiguan until I found out their free service is only up to 3 years and the 4th service which you have to start paying for is a major service that costs a whopping RM4600. In comparison, the 3008's major service on the 4th year costs around RM1500 + RM550 for the brake & aircond service, all nicely covered under the free service package.

Good review and very logical comment about resale value and spare parts cost . Reliability and durability are two different things , some cars are reliable but not durable or robust while some are very durable and robust but lacking slightly in reliability . For me due to my heavy usage, I prefer durability and robustness over reliability . If given Proper maintenance any cars can offer reliabilities unless you ignore maintenance guidlines totally . If you do not want to lose any value, please do not buy any cars even Toyota ,better keep our monies inside the bank ( safe without loses plus gain in interest ).
@chongkl5343 жыл бұрын
Due to low interest and high inflation, you are still losing your money.
@konsen61493 жыл бұрын
@@chongkl534 wrong, money you have still last forever irrespective of interest rate of inflation unlike buying a product like Toyota that does not last forever .

法系在Corner ring 真的爽尤其当你跟车时候只要把油门控制到位总是会比前方车迟刹车、或者不用刹车.但是用过citroen 的过弯表现🈚️言语形容爱不释手.

Very nice and precise reviews! May I know where the wind noise comes from? Are there any solutions for that? Because I think wind noise in a 170k car is unacceptable.. 😅

Those talk about resale value just like before you even buy a car already think of selling it, better do not buy any car. I am enjoying driving my car. Some of may say car just for travel from A to B, then these people should not even consider Toyota, just buy Proton (pls exclude China SUV, X70 and X50) and Perodua, I am sure maintenance cost will be much lower!
why do you need to manually change gear (paddle shifter) when the car is a automated car? like in what circumstances do we need to do that? asking for a friend 😶
@mrlowcarsales3 жыл бұрын
for better driving dynamics when go hilly road or curvely road you can keep the RPM on 2000-4000 range manually, this will largely improve the cornering stability, more fun to drive and more braking power (high rpm and left off throttle can utilise engine braking, hence engine braking + normal braking)
