Yeah this unit is busted ! Not only does he got some of the best stats for a sword infantery but on top of that he got insane mobility, attack twice wich is always nice and have a bunch of overall great effect with his weapon. Combine that with a good build and you got yourself one of the best player phase unit in the game ! And pretty descent on ennemy phase as well.

I want him...he look like a knight in a armor and shield but is actually infantry and have great stats and attack twice and can endure crazy things attacking him brave Edelgard is close to that regardless of being armored unit still but she can't use because she's heavy armored no quarter because that skill is made specifically for Dimitri to rip Edelgard to shreds and she don't even have raging storm so brave Edelgard is like budget version of golden rare Harken heh...but I wonder if infantry Edelgard could with her raging storm in weapon refine and no quarter beat Harken😌 I know she's old and stats are lower but still maybe set up and no quarter could do the trick anyway unless there's no real hope for her even with a raging storm and always fully charged no quarter and also vantage manual activation with her classmate Bernie

Depends on what he's fighting. If the opponent has mixed defenses, it's not going to do anything. If he fought a unit like Halloween Timerra who has less than half of her defense for resistance, it's good. As far as giving it to him, this is where Plumeria is actually useful. Best to have her give him the [Hexblade] bonus than waste one of his skill slots for it.

Did summon Harken by chance and was very happy with it. I liked him already...now in FEH with the jumping even more. Did the same thing in SD, cause I like to suprise my enemy. Just didnt think about Vantage and doesnt have to resources to give him NQ...but should have come up with Vantage myself for double surprise :D

Oh I remember Harken plenty. The fact that he can show up as an enemy in the randomly generated content, mainly Forging Bonds, is quite annoying. The not so Intelligent Systems was smart enough to take out units like Surtr and Fallen Edelgard and Dimitri from this pool... but not Harken? Or Lucia? Alear, Citrinne, Diamant, etc etc etc. All of these powerhouses are A ok showing up in these modes? Absolutely stupid. I don't always bring my A team to FB considering it's a nice mode to farm Hero Merit, so the fact that these can show up and waste my stamina is quite annoying. Other than that, Harken is fine. His main gimmick of teleportation is his only selling point. Without No Quarter or Camilla's "Cut DR in half" buff, he's not going to do much to tanky units. Not to mention NFU shutting him down considering his lackluster speed and Guard/Tempo effects taking away his 2 attack special spam. Plus, I'm surprised more people don't use Gatekeeper. He was designed specifically to stop nonsense like this (also Legendary Elincia exists so like...).

Gatekeeper is fairly common in SDS but it’s a lot more limiting in SDR because of only having one team. That being said, every time I use him or run into him, he’s super toxic lmao

Literally had him on a resonant battle map a few weeks ago and wasnt paying attention to ememy phase, I look back and he was on the other side of the mountain that was between him and my unit and I had to triple take wtf had happend Cant wait for Emblem Celica to have a map wide version of his warp effect for her engage buff

He is the unit that I wanted to play this past SDR as the map was perfect for him (same built as yours but with the atk based Fury DC). But life got in the way and I had no time to test him. Nice to see him actually works as I imagined. Hopefully, the hinted Desert Altina comes with Vantage 4.

I never got to use Harken in my Blazing Blade playthrough but becauae of his unit in Heroes, I've come to really like the character. It also helps that I've been wanting a good modern Def based infantry unit

Harken is exceptional in Blazing Blade as well. A little obtuse to get, but worth it. He also comes with the only Brave Sword in that game, which makes it even more worth it to get him.

Sadly that’s just how the system is. They try to pair people with similar ranks but a lot of the time it’ll be completely random, usually leaning toward lower ranks because of the higher density
