Petite stitcher, unfettered patterns and Tiana's Closet all have done excellent free t shirt patterns. My favourite free pattern is the galaxy tee, but I think you might now have to pay for. My go to patterns though are both Wardrobe By Me - the builder t shirt pattern and the Trudy Turtle neck. As you said at the beginning, there are so so many t shirt patterns out there. Petite Stichery have some good free bag patterns too - one very similar to the Bestie Bag.

Really helpful review thank you. I also like the naya. I favour a boxy tee, as have a very different body shape to you. I like Tilly's Tabitha tee. The itch to stitch visby Henley is my go to long sleeve layering tee, and for summer the pattern emporium besties tee which is more of a swing shape, only make that one in summer in a viscose Jersey.

Thank you for your thoughts and explanations! I've sewn three Naya t-shirts this Summer and like them very much. Ive loved the Look of the Planeten, but for me, broad shoulders and a fuller bust, ist much to tight around the arms and shoulders. I don't bother to make adjustments, but rather sew a Naya.

This was just the video I needed! I've decided to try the Helen's Closest Dawson (you recommended me their black Friday sale today - thank you again!) You really made me think about what fit options there are, like the neckline, boxy or fitted, sleeve type. Personally I cant wear a grown on sleeve because they look really frumpy on my shape

I'm a fan of the Closet Core Tee too, just made a long sleeved one. I had the 3/4 sleeve printed and couldn't be bothered to print the long one so just extended it myself but I see from another comment there isn't a long so just as well LOL. I was thinking my laziness had been lucky this time. Lovely to see your variations

It was me who made a Naya out of a scarf 😂. Have you seen the Styla Reine pattern? It’s got a gathered raglan sleeve. It’s long sleeved but I’ve made all mine in short sleeves. There’s also the Forget me Not Vera (long bishop sleeves, not tried it yet) and the Monroe boat neck. Pretty sure the SBCC tonic was free (they have petite options) and Friday Pattern Co have two different free T-shirts I think. You could definitely do a part 2! The great thing with t-shirts is if you find one that fits you well you can use it as a block and create many different styles from it, I've made the plantain lots and hacked it into a floppy roll neck, I'm large busted/broad shoulders and it fits me lovely. I've also made lots of variations of #kimonotee by MariaDemark a free pattern similar to Naya, have added cuffs, epaulettes, elastic bottom and a dress 😊

My favorite t-shirt pattern is the one from Closet Core. I make my T-shirts in non stretch knits but those are super hard to find, which is a bummer (Belgium)

Just bought the Naya T shirt for nearly £10. Looking at the pattern piece, I am not sure that I have value for money. Proof of the pudding perhaps. Not a free pattern though.

I absolutely love this pattern and I've made so many. If you watch my styling my wardrobe November you can see how I extend it into a dress. It also works well in woven. I have at least 9 different versions now making the cost per sew at nearly a £1.
